LFC in excellent form especially at home (in fact i think they are unbeaten ) the Iron going through a torrid time where a dip in form is morphing into a very bad run..that said

Im going for a 1-1 … just enough to keep AB n Scoff at the helm

    Stats say 2-1
    I’ll probably have a fiver on 3-0 and a fiver on 3-1
    That’s the head.

The heart hopes for a sneaky 0-1

I’m expecting a win based on its a type of game we often turn the tables on teams that are unbeaten, surely Beck must put one away after last Saturday could and should have had at least an hat trick.
Morale must be down and don’t expect Butler during the week to have improved it, but get score first and you never know. 0-3 for me.

It’s wet and windy here in Leamington, talking to a few Lemmings they know all about our dip in form and the reasons why!

They already know about our unpopular manager and his even more unpopular tactics.

I expect defeat today, and at best 1-1 draw. Hope I am ####### wrong.

Unless he has Denton at centre back and Brogan at left wing back.

Would be bonkers of course but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen.

Played in the Lincs Cup game and scored so it shouldn’t be fitness you would think.

If we’re set up 4-4-2 why are we not 2 nil up by now? Is Butler telling them not to score? Probably been running too much again this week and watching ‘the world’s greatest defences’ on loop. Pah!

We take the lead and then it is all out defence, why, when we have a slight advantage with the weather

Yep, and back to a clean sheet. I’d say the defensive subs and soaking up a bit of pressure worked a treat. Delighted for Butler and the boys. Should silence the ‘Butler Out’ mob for a few days.

Sounded a bullish performance considering the awful weather.
Think I heard Torps state a change in formation?
Sounded more solid in defence and a much confidence boosting clean sheet.

Hard to believe that ..barring injury time goals .. we sit top again. Maybe the voices of reason will hold sway for a few days. If it was 4 4 2 then maybe a lesson learned by our rookie manager.

Don’t worry, some stirrer will be on here over the next few days saying how frustrated they are that Butler didn’t change formation sooner and that it was probably down to a board intervention. Bore off.

Maybe JI. Though Torps was asked that and he wasn’t so sure, so don’t believe those that say it must have been due to a formation change.

Andy threw in a curve ball and played 4 across the back, I was wrong thankfully.

Common knowledge we’ve been after another striker for weeks before Beck signed. So always a good chance he’d be partnered with Whitehall in a more 4-4-2 formation, despite those who are adamant that Butler is too ‘arrogant’ and ”stubborn’ to change anything.

Good result against an unbeaten side at home- looks like the change in formation has freshened things up.

Any reports on how we played from those who went ?

Will still want Butler out if he refers back to a back 5.and serves up the same dross again we’ve being served up of late.
Today can be a new start for him let’s hope he takes it.

‘Some fans absolutely desperate to have a snipe at butler after a decent result in any which way.’
