See it’s been well received.
August 27, 2021 at 10:13 pm #212724The buck swiftly passed!

August 27, 2021 at 10:59 pm #212726Plenty of comments on twitter which aren’t exactly complimentary.
August 27, 2021 at 11:11 pm #212731Pathetic statement IMO
And 100% after the horse has balted!
As for the lengthy last bit about fan behaviour I have to say I was disappointed to hear sections of the donny road end chanting ‘get your **** out for the lads’ as the Sutton United female physio walked along the edge of the pitch past them.
Not good enough
August 27, 2021 at 11:15 pm #212733Racist chanting? Nah, it can’t be true, someone on here said they’d never heard any at a football match.
August 27, 2021 at 11:23 pm #212734Although I have not attended any of the matches this season, I have never heard such rubbish that has been published on the club page, when 4,000 proper supporters attended matches, I never heard any of this rubbish ever being said or sang by Scunny fans, wso now that the few die hards still attend, it is even less likely for these things to happen. It appears that the club are just coming out with this rubbish, to distract the proper problems that exist in our, or should I say “the owners club”. I am certain that there is no shortage of beer, bread buns, burgers or soft drinks, and covid appears to still be getting the blame for most of the problems.
Why no comment on injuries, also the standard of the present playing staff, why no comment on the fact that the club is going to do something regarding the fact that it is 16 games since the team actually won a match, none of these seem to be a problem that wants highlighting, but the rubbish being stated reflects blame on supporters, none of the problems appear to point the blame onto management!!!
NEXT TIME THE CLUB MAKES A STATEMENT, I SUGGEST THEY HAVE A WORD WITH SUPPORTERS FIRST!!!!!

Deerey you seem to be obsessed with racism, every topic you write on is the same thing, why does your mind turn everything into the same subject, most people just do not get involved, or are aware that there is a problem, bu you seem to have your mind full of this subject.
Maybe the problem that you go on about would not exist if people would not keep bringing the topic up, just try for one day not to turn your mind on the subject, it might just go away and not control your life !!!

August 27, 2021 at 11:43 pm #212738It’s not though is it BS, you know very well I post about many other topics. If the club have issued a statement that includes problems with racist chanting, then it must have happened and been reported or detected. And no, ffs, is doesn’t control my life.
August 27, 2021 at 11:50 pm #212740Although, maybe if everyone turned their minds away from any problems or issues they might just go away? Now there’s a solution for everything!
August 28, 2021 at 12:05 am #212741This problem the club have highlighted about flares being set off and why it’s unacceptable: I expect awaywego to be contacting the club and shouting at them that it’s okay as long as it’s little hooligans who make his away days a more pleasurable experience than boring fans who don’t feel the need to set off fireworks and act like neanderthals?
August 28, 2021 at 3:01 am #212746I find the timing of such a club statement a bit suspicious…it’s come just after fans shouted for him to give the club back.
Why doesn’t he highlight all the crap he’s done?. Starting with signing the only assets the club had to cover his own stupid spending, countless managers he’s sacked and him and that daft transfer committee signing complete crap when no manager was even here.
Still paying for that now with Jarvis and Turan cluttering up the squad.
To be fair he should be apologising to us for what he’s done to the club. Absolute shambles.
GIVE THE GROUND AND LAND BACK, STICK THE CLUB UP FOR SALE AND GET GONE !
I think you’ll find nobody wants you here anymore.

August 28, 2021 at 8:54 am #212752It’s just a typical hodge podge of smokescreen meant to distract us from the many serious problems at OUR club, and of course, who caused them.
A bit like distracting kids in a car from seeing an accident by pointing out cows or sheep in a field on the other side of the road.
And yes, we are being treated like kids.

August 28, 2021 at 9:40 am #212757Excerpt:- “There have also been comments regarding the cleanliness of seats. All of the seats were washed prior to the start of the season.”
If you use this as a benchmark for the validity of the entire content of the statement then the value becomes questionable. (Unless, of course, “prior to the start of the season” means July 2020)

August 28, 2021 at 9:43 am #212758Maybe the racist chanting is just an home game thing, not heard any at the away games I have attended, and indeed let’s say the hooligan element applauded the taking of the knee, maybe it’s the older generation if it is happening at all.
August 28, 2021 at 10:13 am #212761Nice bit of stirring there Awaywego!

August 28, 2021 at 12:41 pm #212766As I said above the timing seems a little dodgy, comes just after fans dared to shout at Swann to give them their club back.
Then we get the club statement.
The statement including the cleanliness of seats has obviously come from either somebody telling him what’s been written on here or he’s read it himself.
Very petty.
The seats are in poor condition so it’s either they wiped them down with a dry cloth and not properly washed them or the cleaners are blind.

August 28, 2021 at 12:50 pm #212767Or whoever wrote the statement isn’t being entirely honest?
You know…a bit like “every letter is answered…”?
August 28, 2021 at 1:44 pm #212770Swann has stated why he did what he did? Does anyone on here listen to iron Bru podcast?
UptheIron99—-No we do not listen to anything that Sqann says, to be fair to us, most of us did listen to his patter for almost six years, but after nothing ever came of all his claims and so called aims, we gave up listening, and take everything with a pinch of salt, Derinitely!!!
There appears to be only yourself and AwayWeGo69 that give 100% backing to his speal, and I still think that you are really the same person.

August 28, 2021 at 1:54 pm #212771The statement regarding washing down of all seating prior to the season starting is clearly untrue as many on here have stated about their own seats on matchday. I took a cloth with me for the Swindon game after a mates advice who had been to the Burton game pre season and my seat was filthy. The dust for a start was very thick and there were dirty marks and cobwebs on the backs of the seat and on the seat itself, many others around me were the same, so sorry SUFC you are clearly printing an untruth. Whether it’s because a member of staff is attempting to cover their arse or not I don’t know, I suppose the next statement will read ” well that’s what the stadium staff told us, honest “.
I did hear on a coaching course my grandson son attended this week down at Bottesford Town ( organised by SUFC ) that the stadium manager had been suspended as a result of the state of the stadium this season. Don’t know if that is true but it was being said this week by coaching staff running the course.August 28, 2021 at 2:45 pm #212776BS I’m not the one who keeps giving Swann money, You have. Why?.

One more time Deerey, there isn’t a problem, it does not exist, only yourself and a very few other fanatics keep on about it, please just remove it from your mind, you really are obsessed with it, what do you do when you go to bed, take the knee and have a good cry??.
You will not discuss anything people say, the first thing from you is to attack the poster, call him a Nazi, or a racist, do you ever get the feeling that you are the biggest racist amongs us, you are a racist against white people, you are a racist against Britain, you are a racist against anyone that is not a Labour Leftie, just do not be so bitter my friend, and enjoy life and your country, there is a good boy!!
August 28, 2021 at 7:48 pm #212806either they wiped them down with a dry cloth and not properly washed them or the cleaners are blind.
Equal opportunities employer?
August 28, 2021 at 7:52 pm #212807BS I’m not the one who keeps giving Swann money, You have. Why?.
You have no need to give Sqwann money Awaywego99, you have an office at GP and thus have free access, I logged on to the Scunny v Man C 21s simply because it was billed as a first team cup competition, I did expect three or four young or fringe players to take some part in the game, but was conned by ther club involving eight, if I wanted to see a youth game I would go to one, but not pay for one which was supposed to have been a first tram competition.
August 29, 2021 at 8:46 am #212830Swann will only get my money for a home game when things on the pitch improve BS, ( and getting close now after battling results and somebody mentioned entertainment yesterday) what’s your stadium boycott about BS if he gets £8 every time you watch ifollow.
August 29, 2021 at 9:49 am #212832Why are you still banging on about me making every post about racism when I clearly don’t. If anyone’s crying, it’s you ‘pal’. Stop being a bloody baby ffs!
August 29, 2021 at 9:50 am #212833And stop going on about other posters being club employees when they’re clearly not. Do you actually read anything they post??
August 29, 2021 at 6:57 pm #212849Swann has stated why he did what he did? Does anyone on here listen to iron Bru podcast?
Did he mention, does he ever, the group tax relief that the football club losses benefit other Coolsilk companies, and benefit them to the tune of several million pounds?
