Liabilities of £3m and that’s presumably before factoring in all of Hilton’s summer signings? Just shows what the current were and still are up against.

They took on what was a created ‘basket case’.

In such a short time they have done a phenomenal job and they have more mountains to climb to get to stability and then sustainability. Will wait for each initiative.

    GOOD LUCK TO THEM.

Frightening and worse than expected to you Snot but obviously not to the club.
What did you really expect we knew Swanny had stopped putting money in, another £700.000 in liabilities doesn’t seem that bad with another relegation season and yet still paying league wages and having more non playing staff than playing and having an academy that we couldn’t afford.
Trying to be sustainable frightens me more.

Aye, it was only Swann, wasn’t it?

“Trying to be sustainable frightens me more.”

We need a huckster to come in and make unassailable promises and spend loads of money that he doesn’t have, and the club can’t sustain.

They will be on next year’s accounts and my bet is there better.
And if we get promoted and it’s a big if at moment it will be money well spent.

Aye, and it would only have nearly cost us the club if we let the ‘saviour’ continue.

“We” had no choice in the matter on whether he continued or not.

You were one of those banging the drum about the saviour being hounded out. If he continued, as you would have supported, it would only have been worse.

Are you seriously suggesting the club would be in a better position had Hilton stayed?

Of course not Deerey once he stopped funding the club like Swanny did.
If you go back Siderite you will see that I advocated Hilton should pack it all in either just before the ilkeston game or just after and that was the 14th of July for his own good not ours.

Aye, got to think of what’s best for the ‘saviour’, not the club, but I was not referring to that, but the talk of fans hounding him out.
