Closes at 5:00 pm!
October 16, 2020 at 10:33 am #195886I wonder if we dig up any experienced players from somewhere. I know Dales and Mooney are going out..both loan deals I think.
October 16, 2020 at 12:35 pm #195893Assuming colcloughs wages were at the average level in the new wage salary cap system as he was already playing for us am sure that money could be used to bring in a decent left or right back. I personally would take junior brown back as left back
October 16, 2020 at 12:45 pm #195896Right Back is the major problem and that is no disrespect to George Hornshaw because he isn’t a full back, but a pair of full backs could make a massive difference.
October 16, 2020 at 12:55 pm #195898There are a lot of experienced free agents. They can be signed after deadline.
October 16, 2020 at 1:34 pm #195899Santa might have a couple of early presents for Neil. There must be the odd Dom Vose out there somewhere waiting for a chance.

@HumbersideSport·
Cox says there are currently no other loan offers for their fringe players including winger Andy Dales, whose name has been circulated to other clubs. #uti #IronThat’ll boost his confidence then.
October 16, 2020 at 3:49 pm #195909Cox said yesterday Dales was on his way out, as was Mooney so no doubt that’s hit a snag.
Hippolyte, Eisa, Gillead and Green are more than enough wingers. Dales is half decent, I feel sorry for him he deserves playing time somewhere.
If we can sign anybody I’d want a LB and RB above all else. Rowe is fit bit doesn’t seem to be rated by Cox and Clarke is held together with sellotape.
I’d want an experienced CM who actually get’s forward but let’s not be too greedy. I doubt we’ll even get the 2 FB’s in.
October 16, 2020 at 4:00 pm #195912One hour to go.
Last orders please!
October 16, 2020 at 5:47 pm #195915“Time Ladies & Gentlemen please!”
That’s it, the doors are locked and we’re screwed.
Unless we queue up at the 24hr off license? See what’s on offer that nobody else wants.
October 16, 2020 at 6:11 pm #195916I don’t know about everyone else but I am growing greatly concerned for the future of the club, we have had one lucky win and a number of backs to wall performances and defeats, who ever imagined you could bring a load of young players with limited experience already at the club are in a world of their own, with one experienced player gone today and no replacement I fear this season will be worse than the last two if that is possible, I know we criticise Neil Cox for his formations but I can’t see who else would want to take his place, just hope it improves when Kev and Jordan are fit but this last three seasons are not what we want to see and only the COVID-19 is stopping us from getting record lows at home games.
October 16, 2020 at 6:12 pm #195917Free transfers it is then. Probably best bet, get a few decent experienced one’s in and get them up to fitness. Hardly ideal but it’s all we’ve got.
October 16, 2020 at 6:23 pm #195920Me to Mick,to coin a graze,we are buggered,with these people in charge,we are going nowhere,oh and Mooney to Hereford,months loan I believe
October 16, 2020 at 10:29 pm #195933Oh Lord, I Never felt so low. UTWI
October 17, 2020 at 4:32 am #195937I am trying to train myself into caring less than I do.
It’s going tolerably well. I divert myself into other things. -
