I try not to dwell on the past as its a tad depressing , there are loads of players that have been mediocre whilst at Scunny but once moved on n ripped it …

On the other side of the coin.. its not always this way

    Hallam 1 game in 3 years :)
Big Gerry Mac 1 in 1 …then left
Lavery into Donny reserves (i think)
    etc

Never forget KVV goal at the Cods plaice .. still watch it over quite often to this day

Daniel Sturridge has a better goals per game record at Liverpool than Dennis Bergkamp did at Arsenal, but who would you rather have? ;-)

Hayes was more creative than Madden, and in my mind a superior player.

What wouldn’t we give to have a player who scored one every 3/4 games now?

I see KVV bagged his ninth Scottish Premiership goal in a row today, a dramatic 99th minute penalty winner against Ross County , he always was a dramatic twat 😂😂😂 nice one Kev.

No surprise once Elliot was played upfront with a partner he looked a million times better and notched a few, which makes why he was playing mostly out on the wing all the more strange.

Towards the end of the season when he was playing in the role he should have been playing in all along, we saw signs how he was able to score 7 in 9 games at Gateshead.

Another striker to go with Whitehall elliot and carver and we’ll be alright up there. Use the two young lads to dip in and out and get them bedded in at first team level.

…diving in front of those Cods fans at Blunder Park was his finest achievement.

Always had the technical ability but his attitude and physical strength let him down for me during his 1st spell. It’s come to light there were issues behind the scenes that may explain that.

Looked a different specimen during the 2nd spell; I always wondered if Hurst had a part to play?

Gone up to Scotland and won plenty of personal accolades and seems to have fulfilled his potential

Hope he’s getting a nice packet now And enjoys the rest of his career

Keeping him on the bench until he had to use him?
