Got what we deserved unfortunately; good side kiddy and they outplayed us in large spells.
Referee was another numpty who completely lost the game, best thing about when we eventually leave this league will be seeing the back of those clowns.
However, we’ve Been a great run and coped with the Whitehall injury better than expected, we struggle so much without him in the final third though and nothing really seems to knit together.
Onwards to Saturday in what now feels like a must win

You have to try and look at it positively. When Whitehall got injured a lot of people probably expected our season to implode… It hasn’t. Last night was a setback, not an apocalypse.

Schofield almost took exception a couple things during the post-match interview with Ollie on BBC Humberside, but all in all he was balanced and philosophical and relatively good-humoured.

Overall the game was even – B******s!! We were completely outplayed.
We had the best chances to score – I must have missed all the chances we had that were better than 2 free headers in front of goal from inside the 6 yard box.It’s become apparent that we are little more than flat track bullys. Wins have disguised poor performances against poor teams in recent weeks. PE Teacher Andrew has not been able to create a team who show dominance against the better teams, and frankly we haven’t played well for some time. Relying on Roberts, who seemed last night to be playing inside, masks poor recruitment, bad game management, and increasingly baffling decisions.
I will of course be delighted if we beat Chester on Saturday, but remain unconvinced by some distance.

I disagree with your disagreement! I think Schofield was right that on the whole the game was about even, there were chances for both sides. But I’m not sure he was right in saying our chances were best. A couple of Kidderminster’s chances were blatant.

Mo is one of the only other players in this squad who’s capable of pulling something out of the bag and yet he’s on the bench. Carlton was pretty poor and yet kept him on.
I was confused to say the least. Why take Beck off and put Boyce up top for the last 10 minutes ?. That made no sense whatsoever.

Can’t say to much didn’t watch the game, but from what has been said we appeared lack luster again, could have made a real statement for the title by going 5 clear and getting rid of kiddie altogether in the process, makes Saturday game win or bust imo.
No biggie if we win on Saturday another 4 wins after that should see us win the title anything less then playoffs it will be.
Goes without saying not happy with Butler he’s getting the bare minimum out of his squad and every game seems a trial,, not many games are enjoyable but at least we’ve being getting results mainly due to the piss poor opposition, last night losing 1-0 and putting Boyce on, and not Mo or Williams who are more creative players in my eyes unbelievable, fail to see where he thought doing that would get us an equalizer.
Promotion or not I hope he goes (though I do know if we do he won’t) if only for his shite recruitment.1 user thanked author for this post.
