20 year old attacking player from Trinidad and Tobago, recently came from New Jersey to play for Brigg Town on trial against Winterton Rangers on Saturday, he was pictured at our clubs training session today.

Turned 20 in March this year.
    Born in the USA.

4 appearances totalling 266 minutes for T&T as an U17.
3 starts. 1 sub appearance, substituted twice.
0 goals in the 4 games.

2 appearances for North Carolina Fusion as an U18 (2019-20) scoring one goal.

    2020-21 (U19) ?
2021-22 (U20) played for Tobacco Road FC (based in Durham, North Carolina)in the USL League Two – South Atlantic Division. The fourth tier of the USA football pyramid.

Tobacco Road FC play in a 14 game season that takes place in May, June & July each year.

Scored for Brigg on 9th July in a 4-0 win over Winterton. The goal on Briggs FB looks as if the lad has a bit of pace.

2 appearances for North Carolina Fusion U18s (2019-20) scoring one goal.

North Carolina Fusion U18s – not ‘as an 18 year old’ as in my original post.

Don’t see a massive problem with players training with the club or playing in friendlies, its not like we are offering them 3 year contracts is it? No harm in having a look in a training session I bet there a few diamonds out there waiting to be unearhted.

Green always looked to me to have enough about him to be a league player as regards skills and pace but he always looked as though he didn’t respond to being coached.
I don’t wish to have a go – but the lad always looked to me as though his thought processes on the pitch lagged behind his abilities.

Enough syllables in his name to replace KvV in the 7 Nation Army chant.

Green seems to be doing OK at AFT Telford United – resigned this season, played well against Shrewsbury in friendly

Green always went down like a sack of spuds when tackled or any type of physical contact, either powder puff or just a needy pratt. Either way this for me was his problem, its ok being lighting quick but if you don’t have the bollocks for the contest it means nowt.

Green was an odd one in that he looked like he had the talent but never believed in himself enough to use what he had. Green was a good ball carrier at times with a shite load of pace, on the few occasions he went on the outside he left his man for dead but never did it enough.

Shame really, as I think if he really backed himself he could have been really effective at league two level.

He could not pass the ball, cross the ball or shoot. Pretty key attributes for a footballer no matter how quick you are.

Give him 3 league games for Telford for them to work it out.

Looks like that’s a data issue as much as anything – no line-ups reported on AFC Telford’s website, for example.

This site suggests he played their game against Southport in May:

Shows how bored we are with the close season that we are even discussing this. The sooner we get back to losing a couple of games every week the better.

    Oh hang on a minute!

With you Pat O’Cake. Sometimes when allowed to train with higher level players and a tougher training ethic may be what he whas he wished for. Remember Duane Holmes ? Came here and now having realised the opportunities he got back at Huddersfield.

    Nothing to lose for me.

No injury. Waiting for work permit papers to get processed to allow him to feature. Impressing in his trial from what I’ve read.

Lee Turnbull says he is like Duane Holmes but is doing OK but has a lot to learn.

One or two getting a bit over excited about someone who has done very little so far as a professional footballer.

Might be worth seeing him kick a ball or two before touting him as the next Duane Holmes.

To be fair, doesn’t sound like Lee said he was the next Holmes.
