Looks like Kenyon has agreed a deal with AFC fylde. This must have been the club 2 league below us who were interested.

Kenyon was supposed to be our midfield enforcer for crying out loud. All we need now is Davis to piss off and that’s an extra two slots created.

good news ..lets hope can get a few more book ends out n better options in , more so they click from the outset ..

Obvious with Kenyon dropping 2 leagues it highlights theres been too much dead wood in the squad in recent years… Cox years mainly.

Hoping for Grant , Nuttal plus a couple more at the very least… it looks like Hill is specifying players he wants and not the boardroom mafia.

According to SST…. Nuttall, another mystery striker and a CB are coming in but according to Hill we are after another 4 maybe 5 after Sinclair and Feeney so maybe Grant and somebody else comes in with the 2 strikers and CB.

No doubt we need an experienced DCM through the doors. I’d be tempted to get a replacement in for Hackney as well, no point in him being here as he’s out for 5 more games and when he’s back he won’t be match fit anyway.

Hackney hasn’t exactly played that great either. We need a players who are available right now from a squad depth point of view so personally I’d send him back to Boro.

Davis has gone there, not Kenyon.
Kenyon doesn’t fancy dropping two levels, but I’m still expecting him to leave before the deadline.

The fact our experience is being contested by National League North teams sums it up

I got 1 right, Grant is on his way which I’m bloody chuffed about…we’re in desperate need of somebody like him to stick the boot in and control midfield.

Swindon fans seem to really like him.

Grant and Feeney will make a huge difference in that middle. We have some young inexperienced talent who will now get proper on field guidance.

If nothing else after them a CB is vital, need a leader there who Rory knows will help him. Manny & Taft seem to allow players too much space, don’t challenge at opponents set pieces. Stop the goals and we will score.

According to SST there is an experienced CB coming in, In place of Davis which is why he has left the club. I think it’s a case of watching this space.

Kenyon is holding a deal up though because he’s still bloody here.

Don’t blame Kenyon really. Got a young family and doesn’t want to take a big cut in wages. Think he is holding out for National League. The blame lies solely with the ones who signed him!

I don’t blame Kenyon at all, I’m just frustrated that it’s him still being here which is holding things up. Please believe me there’s one man to blame in all this, it’s the same simpleton who signed off on Big Bad Turan and Super Jarvis.

    Yes that’s right…that complete plant pot !

Paid up. Get the same done to Turan at least. Nobody’s gonna want him.

If we could pay him up and get him gone, that would clear the decks for the 5 other signings. I can’t see it costing that much to pay him up, isn’t he out of contract soon any way ?

    Not soon enough!

    Next question. Millen?

How come the three ‘experienced players’ Cox brought in have been so very unreliable?

It looks to me that monies are being made available to Hill – and with the clearout, no need to bust a gut to clear the loan.

probably cheaper to pay them off and hope to keep league status, whether we stay up or not having a real go and winning some games would help.

Yes i think so. Delaney also played for rochdale and bolton, so think KH knows him well. Left footed c.b. who can play l.b. aswell

Feedback from Morecambe fans is very negative with many chipping in for the petrol money to drive him here.

Assuming Wiki can be believed (and why not!!)
Plus:- Could cover the lack of a LB at present
    Puts pressure on Taft
    6’5″ and a good age
    Known to Hill
    Probably cheap enough.

Minus:- Doesn’t seem to have played much lately
    Morecambe again (3rd time lucky?)

Hill signed him for both Rochdale and Bolton and has also played alongside Matheson before. I could see him starting ahead of Taft, never mind put pressure on him. No nonsense CB and added bonus is he’s left footed.

25yr old and stands at 6ft 5 so he’s a presence. Morecombe fans don’t speak well of him but they spoke well of Kenyon and look how he turned out.

Hill knows him inside out and obviously likes him. Hill knows exactly what we need so I’ll not question it.
