Great news that a contract extension has been agreed.

Gentleman’s agreement with Mr Swannn maybe, could be interesting. Yes but great news anyway and be even better if HIS team does the business.

100%. Surprised he has given us a second thought to be honest.

Whatever league we end up in next year it will be interesting to see how he gets on with his own squad/ideas and a chance to build something.

If by some miracle we stay up, what’s to stop Swann from doing much the same to us again…and again and again?

    Swann out!

Stump up the cash and buy him out then, until you or any interested parties provide PROOF OF FUNDS we need him more than he needs us!

I think the fact Hill has committed to stay on whether we’re relegated or not and good business has been done this month, plus Simon Elliott on board, is a sign the owner doesn’t want it to happen again. And despite some people claiming he wants to take us out the league, he now seems to be doing a good job of disproving that theory. You may well tell me that’s all part of his wretched plan and I’m gullible Alcy but you say that about numerous topics!

Not about saving face then?, well maybe is maybe isn’t but I’m delighted with January business and a real chance for Hill to flex his muscles and build a better side.As for you know who, just ignoring him TBH, yes he’s helped this month but the rest of the propaganda we’ve heard similar before. Delighted by Hills decision to stay on next season though.

Hill staying is great as long as we give it a real go if we get relegated to get back up, I don’t know about you lot but whatever division we are in I am fed up of losing virtually every game and the last 3 years have been a nightmare

I think a huge part of that is because clueless pillocks behind the scenes were choosing players when they had absolutely no idea who or what we actually needed.

You can tell now that Hill has free reign to bring his own players in and I suspect even if we go down that the squad will be more than competitive. Hill is staying here as part of a long term project which is only good news.

Really great news Keith’s committed beyond the end of this season, and wants to build a team. Best manager since NA by far.

Let’s hope we start picking up some wins, and fingers crossed enough to save our bacon.

If he pulls it off, he’ll deserve the Freedom of Scunny! UTI

What Hill says now may be very different to what he says at the end of the season.

It won’t be. Hill will still be here. Believe it Bob, it’s happening.

Most have been signed on short contracts, so what’s the chance they’d stay to play non league footy?

    There’s optimism, then there’s soft.

If they are getting paid a good wage I don’t think they are bothered looking at the players Stockport and Wrexham have signed

It puzzles me why you even post on this forum, it’s crystal clear you don’t even support to the club…all you ever do is moan.

If you truly supported the club, you’d put the Swann hatred to one side and back the players but you can’t or shall I say won’t even do that.

I can’t remember the last time I read anything positive from you.

Stop moaning all the time, put the Swannster hatred to one side and try and at least be a tad positive and back the club.

This is supposed to be your team remember !

It was my team before you were a twinkle in your dad’s eye.

But Swann… everyone talks like “if we can escape this season….”
But what of next season? And if not wound up, the season after?

If he’s still here, there’ll be no change.

This guy has known it all and treated supporters like idiots snd enemies since day one.
I will not go again until he’s gone.
I shan’t even be at our last ever league game, as Mrs Alcazar wants to use our “covid passes” to go to France.

Let’s all get down to GLANFORD PARK on Saturday and support Hill and the team. We can be the 12th man if we get a decent crowd. I know quite a number of fans who have stopped going because of SWANN and want him znd his family gone but just forget about SWANN and help fight for Scunthorpe United’s Football League status.

I will be there to support Keith and our team but I wish Mr Swann could find a buyer and clear off.

Been to pick up my tickets for the next two home games this morning, training ground absolutely buzzing. Keith Hill overseeing a game shouting out ” pressure pressure work “, nice to hear and see. Put it this way, didn’t see any players standing still. Got a good feeling about Saturday’s game, tickets going well according to the girl in the office and Oldham very nearly sold out, should be a cracking atmosphere, get your arses down there and back the lads. UP THE IRON.
