See he has signed up for Iron Aid.

After a year out of the game but not officially retired is he after a return to the scene of comfortably the best spell of his career?

Never did anything remotely similar anywhere else.

Thought he might have fancied working with Roo at Plymouth Argyle!

Hopefully they recreate that goal at Iron aid if only to stick 2 fingers at Swann who threw Morris under the bus, in my opinion.

Who else would you like to see back? (Limited to those that are still mobile enough)
I’ll throw in Murphy, Cliffy, Dawson, Hayes & Sharp.

One of the very few times I’ve ever agreed with Peter Swann. One of the lowest points in the Iron’s history, on the pitch.

Ramon Nunez who we loaned from Leeds back in the day. He didn’t play many games, but you could tell he was a top player nevertheless. I’d throw in Lee Hodges too if he’s not already playing a part.

cleveland was hilarious. I remember in one home game he ran that quick he forgot to take the ball with him, but a matter of seconds later he ran from the half way line, taking on 4 or 4 players and sticking it in the top corner.

So exciting to watch because you never knew what you were going to get.

Agree on Cleveland, one of Scunny’s most under-rated players. His contribution to the 2006/07 title was equal to that of Keogh, Sharp, Crosby, Foster, Murphy, etc.

I remember when Steve MacLean scored that goal at Hull, Cleveland pogo-d past the away end behind the goal, celebrating wildly. A proper Iron great.

Ramon Nunez great little player only 8 games but was he good just couldn’t do it for Leeds.
Remember his and Knills debut game at Norwich all 33mins of it he looked like getting us back in the game till Ried got sent off and they made it 2-0 from the ensuing penalty ended up 6-0 god knows what it would have been if he’d left the dwarf on lol.
Great season for Me besides being relegated won some great away games, plus we played Everton and not forgetting taking the lead against Man utd in the league cup happy days.
