Is he fit(stupid question),unfit,in training, nearing fitness? Or is he not even at the club no more, not heard anything on him for months
October 26, 2022 at 9:27 am #247547Still regaining fitness from his hamstring injury ( I know, the permanent one ), Daws mentioned it the other week with the old ” on the training pitch working very hard ” and blah blah blah. Usual stuff but nothing really new.
October 26, 2022 at 9:32 am #247548Tony Daws on 23rd October on OWS:-
He then went on to provide a fitness update on the rest of the squad. He said: “We’re all okay. Jordan Hallam is obviously injured (hamstring) but working really hard to try and regain his fitness, and his ability to train on a regular basis without picking up an injury.”October 26, 2022 at 9:45 am #247555Nothing really new then, Hallam is a nice lad but a perma-crock, it’s a shame but it’s a reality.

October 26, 2022 at 12:46 pm #247590Tragedy for him because he could be good. Sadly near enough same injury – hamstring that renders him crocked.
Chronic waste of money.
October 26, 2022 at 11:15 pm #247655He is still out on the sick list, but is presently in talks with the club regarding a two year extention on his present contract, he is having difficulty now that the young Swann is no longer connected with the recruitment side of things, but should be fit enough to be included on the bench as an unused sub by early May.
October 27, 2022 at 4:50 am #247659The trouble is, BS – none of us is sufficiently confident to gainsay what you’ve written.

October 28, 2022 at 2:13 am #247718Hallam needs binning off A.S.A.P. I’m Sure he’s a top lad but he’s never fit and we can Ill afford to carry passengers.

October 28, 2022 at 7:17 am #247719Is that really fair, WG – the lad’s been at the club for years?
October 28, 2022 at 8:10 am #247721I doubt the lad will play for us again. Seriously question whether he’ll play football again. He’s just one of those unfortunate people who can’t seem to get a lucky turn.
Feel for him but as we’re close to going bust we have bigger concerns.2 users thanked author for this post.
October 28, 2022 at 9:11 am #247723Reminds a bit of Luke Williams when he got injured and could not get fit again properly, only difference is it happened over a shorter timescale and he didn’t cost us money over a longer period.

See he’s playing out in Iceland, played the first 4 games and been injures since.

Yes, it’s fair. What do you want to do exactly, give him another 2yr contract and have him take a wage and a squad place up despite spending 80% of the time in the treatment room ?
Look, I feel for him. This has to end somewhere though surely ?

October 28, 2022 at 7:33 pm #247776Sadly Jordan has to be in the last chance saloon! he is a good talent but sadly he just can’t stay fit, in the first game he played at Rochdale we got a small glimpse of his talent before going off injured.
Like Wonder has said I feel for him but we just can’t afford any deadwood at the minute, remember someone saying there are injuries and there are injuries that are in your brain maybe this is what Jordan has and has to push himself harder to play through injury as footballers are very rarely injury free.
