I think that as many SUFC Supporters as possible should join The Iron Trust. They did remarkably well in organising the meeting to block the 100000 takeover and were on the case straight away. I know that Chairman Tony Gosling is Scunthorpe United through and through, he has Iron in his blood. Every supporter joining is another step to purchasing shares in our Club to give us a voice and I believe they should be given the greatest respect by our boardroom. Let’s not forget it was The Trust who instigated and got our Club made an Asset of Our Community.
Not 100% sure 64, but certainly they would have put pressure on at the meeting. We should have confidence in them to look after our fan’s interests and we appear to get more information from The Trust than from our Board now.
