The 50-50 Draw will be returning at the Exeter City game on September 11th and the club require sellers to be part of the matchday team.
Sellers will be required from 1.00pm until just after kick-off on Saturday fixtures with a flat fee paid per game.”

According to SUFC Twitter 50/50 draw ticket sellers required to join John Stsff and the team so DRAW TICKETS returns! Good for John.

Seems a bit off to be nitpicking about whether a celebrated Iron historian / legend has been back to a game since he had to pay. Probably given more value to the fabric of the club than most of us could ever dream of.

Spoke to a club contact at the ground a couple of weeks ago when I went to get my Tranmere ticket and was told that John still attends home games but has stopped travelling away because his wife is unwell. This. I think the current owners are generally unpleasant types that I wouldn’t trust as far as I could throw, but Staff is the biggest freeloader of them all.

Of course he won’t because he doesn’t have any factual evidence, just like he doesn’t have a backbone, if he did he would challenge John about his accusations in flesh rather than slating him from behind a keyboard.

Thanks for that info Ironawe, do hope she gets better soon, behind every good man is a good woman, she puts up with a lot as most of their house is full and I mean full of footy and train memorabilia, my wife wouldn’t stand for it, the last time I was speaking to her they were going to Liverpool for 2 days, to research anything Scunthorpe United related in the their papers archive, so you can see what she has puts up with.
