    Jimmy, Jimmy
    Jimmy, Jimmy ooh!
    Jimmy, Jimmy
Poor little Jimmy wouldn’t let go.

    He’d stay awake at night
    Lying in his bed
    No one ever listened
To a single word, he said.

Some of the travelling faithful not entirely happy with our manager at the final whistle!

I’ve stuck the boot into Jimmy plenty of times, but can’t blame that on him tonight. Hit the bar twice, scored a legitimate goal and Fitz has ended up doing what we’ve all feared he’d do for a while.

We played well tonight. I didn’t think Clunnan worked pushed further up. I would have played Clarke, but apart from that he got it pretty spot on.

I thought we were ok last night but a lot of familiar failings were on show too. Dean getting a touchline ban might be the best thing for us in the coming games.

Clunan & Scales too lightweight last night. And Corbett & Roberts played too far away from Whitehall.

Set up to attack but had the opposite effect.

There was some terrific attacking play from time to time, but the tendency to make far too many passes and lose momentum around the box was certainly in evidence too. There were a couple of instances of being in a reasonable enough position to have a crack but dithering and the ball ending up going through four or five passes back to the keeper.

It’s all so laboured in possession, why take 1 touch when you can take 4? NI is absolutely right about Whitehall being isolated, even though he won virtually everything in the air. I don’t understand why Sembie-Ferris was left out, missed his pace. That Corbett on the left-hand side looked lost, why is he here when we have so many options for that position?

When they countered we had 2 or 3 players in our box, when we attacked they had 8 or 9 back because we took too long.

This, over and over and over and over again this season.

And it was always down our right side, targetting Ogle, and that’s where the goal ultimately came from (albeit with plenty of help from the keeper).

I don’t understand why Sembie-Ferris was left out

I should imagine with Friday in mind. Ferris will be in Friday again and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but we missed Beestin on the left linking up with Whitehall.

Still putting that to one side we were hugely unlucky last night. Watch their interview from their GK, even he laughed when mentioning the goal and said nobody was near him when he palmed it into his own net.

99 times out of a 100 that was a 1-1 game at worst.

You’re probably right but we didn’t create enough clear chances for all our dominance and gave away a daft goal. Obviously the Butterfield disallowed goal was a joke.

We had loads of chances, including two which hit the bar. By the way their GK won their man of the match award so it’s interesting you came to that conclusion.

He made some good saves and one (Clunan) that was made easy for him. Doubtful if he’d have got MOM if our ‘goal’ had counted. No wonder he laughed, win/win for him.

Clunan missed a sitter, Boyce hit the bar, Whitehall had a couple of half chances, Roberts & Butterfield shot straight at the keeper. Am I missing something, aside from the disallowed goal? But we dominated the ball, we should have had more than a handful of chances to show for it, in my opinion.

Well he won MOM so we must have had chances he saved. Maybe you just can’t remember them all ?

Get Easter out of the way and Jimbob will be able to take his toys in before breaking up.
