Left us to join Mansfield not long ago. I always thought that he was a half decent DM. He will be out of contract after the playoffs, and, especially if they make it to L1. At the age of 36, they might well let him go.
My question is, would he be able to do a job for us in the NL?
Perhaps we couldn’t afford his wages??
UTBI
Aside from one cracking goal it didn’t seem to work out with us. Maybe a coaching role as the management team appears to lack a bit of quality
If he’s still on £3k a week we’ve no chance.
He did look very good playing for Mansfield against us last season. Mind you my neighbours three legged dog would have looked good playing against us last season. 🐶
No thanks
Not impressed last time he was here. Seemed to play for himself and not in a team.
Reportedly on £4k a week last time and was certainly not worth anywhere near that.
Doubt he would come back for £400 a week.
Decent player in his day but that day has gone.
But like our team MK, decent in their day but now gone.
Very sad. Very true IA.
Plenty of other fish in the sea!
I hear Will’s chasing Billy Bass
The really worrying thing is he is far short of what we require but still miles away from what we can afford.
National League North / South players with potential will be on Will’s radar I assume? I.e. those we can afford and could cut it a division higher?
Don’t say that, I was hoping Will’s radar had been switched off and his controller confiscated. I thought Hill made it quite clear that he wanted recruitment to be in his hands alone.
(Mind you that could have been scripted like ” Will got the job as chief scout because Cox asked for him “.)
On here it will be a case of if they do ok they will be Hills pick if there shite they will be Wills pick.
Bit unfair awaywego. You can usually get a sense from the coach which was their picks and which weren’t.
CT, yep, and we all know Peter’s a man of his word!
if there shite they will be Wills pick.
Well all the others were I think! (Unless Beestin was his)
Hippolyte probably the nearest Cygnet got to a decent signing.
