What a feckin unholy alliance! 🤣🤣🤣
July 12, 2022 at 1:26 pm #240395Nadine Dorries adding at the end of the BBC interview that Truss was also a woman, in case we weren’t sure I presume? 😂😂😂

July 12, 2022 at 2:15 pm #240405Some classic Truss here I-A. Fill yer boots! 🤣
July 12, 2022 at 4:02 pm #240419She forgot to mention the Tories are selling bullshit to the British electorate, love the way she pauses after every other sentence waiting for the applause ( blue rinse brigade no doubt ) to kick in. More sycophantic drivel.
July 12, 2022 at 4:12 pm #240421Export cheese-hurrah!!! Import cheese-boooo!!! 🤣
There was another excruciating conference delivery from her on the net once but I can’t find that one.
July 12, 2022 at 5:02 pm #240426Please no more you will only set alcy off on his liebour rant and fill the site with right wing conspiracy drivel videos.
July 12, 2022 at 6:50 pm #240433Fair point, though maybe they won’t last very long nowadays, after the last time?
July 13, 2022 at 9:01 am #240486Really, all these candidates sound off about how bad everything is, and how badly change is needed (sorry AWG – change is a-comin’) like they’ve just arrived from planet Pluto, when they’ve been at the heart of government for the last 10 years or more! It’s as bad as PS and the club.
DM – the Truss piece could be in here – about pork to China. Note the primary school teacher faces for those who have trouble understanding words.

July 13, 2022 at 12:34 pm #240515If they’re getting the thumbs up from Moggie, then it’s fair to say they don’t have a clue about the real world.
July 13, 2022 at 12:45 pm #240517Funny that Gurnelista. A nice chortle at lunchtime 😀
July 13, 2022 at 1:42 pm #240527One thing Johnson’s time in office has probably changed for good is lack of integrity and seeing to do the right thing in general for our leaders. Yes standards have been falling for years but there has been a notable acceleration under Johnson. It’s maybe classed as a minor detail now but Sunak was fined in the partygate fiasco but is deemed honest and genuine enough to stand as Tory leader. Or don’t they give a shit anymore anyway?

July 13, 2022 at 2:10 pm #240530I was speaking to some Indians last weekend about politics and Sunak came up. They were saying that his wife is known to be very corrupt in India. I know that we shouldn’t judge him on his spouse, but it does make me wonder how integral he is, especially with the underhand shenanigans of the Johnson government.
Anyway, from speaking to these Indians my thoughts on Indian politics was solidified further in its precarious and worrying state. We should be thankful that our system isn’t that bad, which is precisely why we should demand rigour from our government, regardless of party affiliation. This is why the excuses, whatabouting and dismissals from Tories about Johnson and his colleagues has been infuriating and concerning.
July 13, 2022 at 2:38 pm #240532Only Kemi Badenouch can be a success for the Tories.
The “ left” hate her ( I wonder why!?)
The only one who knows what a woman is – how could you vote for anyone who doesn’t know?
Oh wait,The whole of the Labour Party don’t either!July 13, 2022 at 3:40 pm #240538Nothing construct to add as usual bill but then again…. remember how the Daily Mail pushed for ten days on the trot about Starmer and his beer at work crap, front page for ten days, then he was investigated and cleared on all counts. Thought I’d chuck that in seeing as you produce no proof that Kemi Badenouch is hated by the left, where did you read that, the Daily Mail 🤔😂
July 13, 2022 at 8:26 pm #240566This news feature clip from Fox News about why Johnson resigned is absolutely incredible. Nothing about the real reasons he was forced to resign. Bpg, you may well agree with it given your previous posts:
If you’ve ever wondered just how misleading Fox News can be, watch what their viewers have been told about why Boris Johnson has resigned as Prime Minister:pic.twitter.com/iOSWnUnHqb

July 13, 2022 at 8:59 pm #240571Fox news unbelievable right wing media bais, watched by over three million Americans every day, derided nationwide as the the bearer of false and misleading information the majority of the time. It’s all about advertising of course, the more lies and crap they broadcast the more certain gullible Americans tune in to watch and accept what they see and hear. Many advertiser’s use Fox News based purely on the viewing figures they attain in the world of cable news. A certain proportion of the American public choose to bury their heads in the sand regarding the truth and Fox News are happy to feed their distorted logic. Scary and sad at the same time.

July 13, 2022 at 11:01 pm #240573Have you watched Succession I-A? Loosely based on the Murdoch family and empire. Best, most enjoyable and entertaining satirical series in the last few years, IMO. If you haven’t seen I think you’d love it.
July 14, 2022 at 8:43 am #240587If it’s not on freeview I won’t have seen it although we have Amazon Prime but that’s it for me, just the BBC licence fee and no other subscription channels.
July 14, 2022 at 8:55 am #240589That’s a shame. It’s an HBO drama series on NOW / Sky (oddly given the shows premise). As a lot of these series’ do, it will probably migrate to a different subs channel at some point. You might get to see it if it ends up on Prime. I think you can get a 7 day free trial of NOW btw. You just need to make a note to cancel before the 7 days is up. I know a few people who’ve binge watched Succession and quit the subs before they kick in:
