October 4, 2023 at 3:22 pm #274551We have survived. Let’s hope that there is now some stability and a realistic approach to the future.
October 4, 2023 at 3:23 pm #274552Can I have my fifty quid back then?

October 4, 2023 at 3:25 pm #274555A lady owner, congratulations Michelle and thank you, first job, smack Awaywego across the gob with your handbag. UTI, we have OUR club back.

October 4, 2023 at 3:34 pm #274560Great news, look forward to a bit more detail, specifically on what’s happening with Glanford.
A real relief that the club isn’t facing a “records expunged” season and re-founding, been a terrible worry.
Best of luck to the new people involved in taking the club forward.
October 4, 2023 at 3:41 pm #274562I didn’t partake of the nonsense, myself. But I think one of the first jobs is to address the 1899 Ponzi.
October 4, 2023 at 3:42 pm #274563Aidan reporting a deal is close with Swann to remain at GP, wow, that would be a proper result if true.

October 4, 2023 at 3:44 pm #274565Good news hopefully but after the 2 previous owners can I just hang back with wholeheartedly offering 100 percent support. Will wait and see.
October 4, 2023 at 3:46 pm #274567I hope she’s carrying the pyros in her handbag like any self respecting woman does for her man. Does she stand up at games Ironawe for her to hit me.
October 4, 2023 at 3:47 pm #274568Very good news, but surely some mistake as ‘some’ claimed no one out there would take SUFC on. Southend yesterday, and you today is proof there’s always people willing to take over football clubs.

October 4, 2023 at 3:58 pm #274571It’s good news.
As well as everything else, what this club needs now is a quiet, hardworking and really considered stewardship.
People who have no desire for raising their profile and no need for ego to be stroked. People who come up with the cash and put the money where their mouth is. People who work hard to make it work, not just sit on the throne.
It was quite clever of the club to give Hilton a generous mention in the statement, probably the right political thing to do. Also smart to acknowledge Elliott but good that it seemed to be a bit of a farewell too (that’s how I read it). Time for a fresh start away from all that nonsense of the last several months, and the very public figures who were involved in it.
October 4, 2023 at 4:04 pm #274579And no resting on the ground issue it still needs to be in the hands of the fans forever.

I read it wrong, obviously, as it’s been announced he is on the new board.
