The biggest concern is Cox who is now so far out of his depth he is losing his grip on reality. He is Swann’s mouthpiece so won’t be going anywhere which is the irony as he probably does deserve to get the boot. This doesn’t cover the fact that Swann is slowly destroying the club…..

Very interesting to see the almost total lack of interest from the other players when McAtee scored to give us a chance of getting something from the game. Sums up their attitude and level of enthusiasm for Scunthorpe United that some of them clearly have.
Lack of interest from our players is not a new problem, it seems to be a recurring problem year after year, they start OK but then fade away and can’t seem to get away quick enough, just what happens to them when they get here. It something that has happened under succesive managers so it’s not a manager effect, perhaps its something else in the club they aren’t happy with! Maybe it’s something to do with promises made to lure them here which didn’t materialise, how many times did we hear players say they had come because we were having a new stadium and were targeting championship football only to get here and realise it was all a pipedream.
