Quality of merchandise aside, I don’t think many were happy with the treatment Merch Labs received after their previous terrific support.
Completely agree. Shoddy.
April 29, 2025 at 2:29 pm #303699Are there any examples of a lower league or non league club selling tasteful or stylish merchandise? Not seen any myself.
Does that mean we should just willingly walk into the tat trap?
Want to see: Paul Weller.
Actually seeing: Timmy Mallet.April 29, 2025 at 2:31 pm #303700Is he on the WEEKENDER?
April 29, 2025 at 2:35 pm #303702If Paul Weller was on I would have my ticket already.

Actually seeing: Timmy Mallet.Just trying to make the point that no clubs that mainly rely on local catchment support have demonstrated they can make money from quality merchandise. We should perhaps not be surprised that the Iron haven’t bucked the trend.

Trust V Club more like.
Club choose to ignore the trust when wanting to talk with fans.
Trust choose clubs ex merchandisers.
This is the kind of comment that could have been foreseen and exactly why I wouldn’t have joined up like this

Would be delighted and suitably apologetic if someone proves me wrong.

If people are going to just buy stuff anyway (which they clearly are), why not make it good in the first place? Why not aim a bit higher, get a proper aesthetic vibe going rather than this low level hum.

Timmy and Magic legends of kids TV in the nineties, he’s a painter now, think Magic disappeared in a puff of smoke, Pets Crematorium.
April 29, 2025 at 4:36 pm #303715Don’t mind a couple of designs but wouldn’t buy any myself. That said, proof will be in the sales I guess. Something more tasteful to me might sink like a stone!

You’re right. One man’s absolute tat is another man’s should know better.

One mans ceiling is another mans floor, Paul Simon wrote that.

April 29, 2025 at 7:24 pm #303731Whatever you say about the trust buying shares and that giving money to the club, in the trusts 12 years of existence up until the last accounts, I’m sure you’ll all agree 50 shares pales into insignificance.
