Following the recent surge in new members for the Trust to a total of 780 the Iron Trust board had proposed to members that the Trust made a donation of £5000 to Scunthorpe United FC. The sum was to be made up from the joining fees for the recent new members and Trust reserves. Following consultation with members we are delighted that they unanimously voted yes to make the donation which we have now sent to the club.
We have received the following message from Michelle Harness, the SUFC owner.
“I would like to thank your members of the Iron Trust for the support offered during this transition into buying back our home, Glanford Park. I also would like to confirm any donation from the Iron Trust will be converted into a share issue once this has been arranged.”
United we stand. UTI.
A great move, Michelle and the board need as much help as possible in these early months.
I was happy to say YES to the proposal, the recipients I trust – the previous ones I would not !
It was a no brainer yes from me on receiving the Trust email, we all need to be proactive in some way to help Michelle and the new board out, UTI.
I never got an email!
I never got an email!
I guess they have standards
Are you a member?
Now looking forward to the SHARE LAUNCH. Only got a few as Peter watered down what people had.
This time some protection needs giving to fans who back the club and buy shares.
Lol.
IRON TRUST reporting today that there are now over 780 members which is great news.
I got the email. As previously stated, it was a no brainer. Yes..
I never got an email!
Funny that!
I’m sure you’ll think of another way to give the club money.
Yes NI I joined the club lottery, well for the moment anyway, if the club don’t push it better than they have at the moment I will drop out. And yes suggestions have been forwarded.
