Anyone seen the article? Really good assessment I thought. Peter Swann doesn’t come out as badly as some would like … sorry Alcy … and the undoubted problematic issues specific to the Iron are also fairly set in the wider context of ridiculous money saturating football. Only whisper it softly .. but there may even be hints of optimism for those looking for them.

I noticed some Peter Swann quotes to that effect but nothing else to back up that claim. I mean, are we really saying we cannot realistically compete with the “giants” of League One like Wycombe, Burton, Cheltenham or Accrington? All doing well in League One.

Anyway, who cares about competing in the Championship – I’d be very happy if we could be competitive in League Two!
