Stand-out moment for me is one of the Matts in total dismay, saying what a disgrace the timing of the Club’s planned official announcement of the FC100000 news is (this Thursday, including a video)… I completely echo his point and paraphrase it here: Which idiot, which amateur, at Scunthorpe United thought that it’s a good idea at this crucial on-field stage of the season to set up this kind of announcement? Regardless of absolutely anything else, upsetting the balance as we steam towards the title, and shifting everyone’s focus – absolutely unforgivable.
Or – fair questions – have FC100000 leaked to The Athletic in an attempt to force the issue and establish their own control of the timeline / narrative?
Have the club formally announced its for sale?
If the present incumbents can’t sustain the life support machine for much longer then would it be better to formally announce that it is for sale?
