Its not down to posters on here to make sure people at the club are doing the jobs they are paid to do! As I said earlier, who is Managing the Food & Beverage side of the business? All they have to do is walk in the Iron Bar on a matchday to see what a shambles it is! The same for the state of the seats in the stadium, who is the stadium manager and why is he/she not managing stuff like this?

Are they motivated to? The evidence suggests not.

If you are being paid to clean dust and bird crap off seats what other motivation do you need?

Well done Marty for putting a complaint in, if no one says anything nothing will change, at least your trying, if everyone tried a bit of direct action things might change, Oldham fans are trying various actions, the first failed miserably a group organised a home attendance boycott but ended up getting more in than previous opening day fixture, they ended that one and blamed coved and lack of tickets for away games, the second one went rather better with the pitch invasion on Saturday that has got everyones attention, media wise as well as an fa investigation. Posters on here have a lot to say, it’s about time they backed it up.

I would advise caution, as that post looks dangerously close to inciting a pitch invasion.

    So the Club go cashless.
Half time on Saturday and a queue at the kiosk in the Main Stand and one of the Card Scanners wanted a new roll of paper in to print payments.
Two young kids serving with one scanner working whilst other lady spent the best part of 10 minutes trying to put a new roll of paper in the machine !
It’s ok the Club going cashless but suggest they train the staff how to use / service the machines.
Nothing alters for the better at Glanny Park.

You are one of the ones with most to say get Impression that you don’t go many home games but like to advise others to take action seriously doubt your credentials to give such advice as you have stated that you don’t put money into chairman s pocket and only go away

Revenue streams at a football stadium are many and varied. I stopped using the car park several years ago after the final game against York – stuck for nearly 2 hours. I stopped using the catering after queueing before half time to be told they’d run out of burgers. I stopped treating myself and my son to executive tickets after they withdrew the free car parking option. I stopped using the Iron Bar after they ran out of all draught beers apart from Strongbow and were charging £4 for a Guinness served in a plastic glass. To say our current chairman has experience in hospitality does beg the question as to the definition of that word. Well it means -‘the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.’ There you go. Not sure what it will take or me to stop paying to watch the team – after nearly 58 years perhaps I’ll give it a bit longer. Just think with a little bit of attention those streams could be a lot more lucrative than at present. I work in hospitality and I have to say that the current set up at the ground seems to generate complaints rather than revenue.

If that was a dig at me O.H. don’t bother, I believe in backing one’s self and be prepared to take action if there is something wrong, as shop steward I left it down to the members to say what action THEY were prepared to take before firing the bullets, if you’ve followed some of my comments you will see that to be the case, if it wasn’t me you were on about soory for the rant.

You know what you wanna do awaywego, stop getting hot under the collar and have a laugh mate. Life’s too short. That’s what you often tell me anyway. Does it work both ways though? Maybe not!

Always having a laugh Deerey, win, lose or draw in football or life, like you say life’s to short, that’s why I’m not bothered about Swannys chairmanship and all the issues surrounding flags ,seats, catering, who owns the ground, I just want to be entertained and it really doesn’t matter about winning as long as I can watch scunny when and where i decide to. I hope Bru is just one big laugh for everyone. It is for me.
