For those who don’t yet know, Bilson sounds like he’s knackered his knee and has gone back to see Conventry’s medical team and O’Neil has had a scan on his knee and get’s the results back Thursday .
Cox didn’t come across as being too hopeful about either of them.
We was threadbare before those two being crocked, we’re fecked now.
Time for Jarvis or Big bad Turan to star upfront and Watson to keep the goals out at the other end.

August 9, 2021 at 10:33 pm #211654Isn’t Jarvis still unfit? Whatever, one game in and the injuries we have struggled with over several seasons are back to haunt us already, quite unbelievable and would be bad enough in a bigger well balanced squad but with the current limitations, yep it’s not looking great.

August 9, 2021 at 10:38 pm #211655Who broke that bloody mirror?
August 10, 2021 at 9:59 am #211671It almost seems that Watson is destined to be the number 1 keeper.
August 10, 2021 at 5:43 pm #211695Well someone did give him the number 1 shirt, maybe he had a preminition, or maybe cleverer than we think.
August 10, 2021 at 5:56 pm #211696Based on past performance with Watson in goal it means we have to score at least two for a draw, or three for a win which is unlikely.
August 10, 2021 at 6:57 pm #211699Especially since 442 has vanished after 1 game and we’re back to Loft upfront on his own which we showed repeatedly last season doesn’t work.
Cox has learned nothing apparently.

Given the lack of strikers, can we not go 90s-Sertori-stylee and put Onarise up front? I understand why Cox things playing three centre-backs makes sense given his lack of other options but I genuinely reckon we’d offer more threat with Onarise alongside Loft. Let’s go full long ball!

August 16, 2021 at 8:15 pm #212044Two more long term injuries it seems from the Dale game!
If they carry on getting injured at this rate we will soon struggle to field a team.
After just three games we are starting to suffer the effects of a wafer thin squad.
I think the benifits of the efl loan will soon be proved valueless.1 user thanked author for this post.
August 16, 2021 at 8:44 pm #212046Well posters did say we had to big a squad last year. Dammed if we do, dammed if we dont.

Trouble is last years squad contained too many poor players.
I trust by the “we” you are one of those selecting the players.August 16, 2021 at 9:31 pm #212048August 16, 2021 at 9:53 pm #212049I noticed even Kev was injured Saturday but then remembered he’d left. He was probably rushed back too quickly again. Rough old game this football.
August 17, 2021 at 8:38 am #212053Maybe they have idontfancyit syndrome?
