How do I find out if iFollow matches are available in the UK? My understanding is that only certain games are streamed in the UK, is that right? How do you know which ones they are?

Pretty much all except Saturday 3 o clock kick offs.

These are available only on international breaks and Premier League winter break. The EFL wouldn’t want to be upsetting the Premier League now would they.

You can purchase and watch those games if you go through a suitable VPN and order/watch from “abroad”. A bit fiddly but doable.

It’s all games but Sat 3pms isn’t it? Just go on the SUFC site and live match centre will tell you if the game is available to purchase fir £10.

If you’re abroad it’s all games. Or used to be. Unless you access using a VPN but i believe it doesn’t always work.

iFollow pretty much wise to the free VPN’s and a number of the paid ones. Trickiest part of the process is finding a VPN that works consistently. It also gives issues “casting” to a smart tv from your phone or tablet as they have different IP adresses.

I just watch the away Saturday games on the tablet now which is OK.

Cheers all. I saw the game tonight was available to buy but had no confidence it would actually let me watch it after paying!

I think it’s a Football League product Les, so I would doubt it. It will be possible to listen online to the radio commentary, however.

BT Sport has a TV contract for the National League, so whilst you wouldn’t be able to stream specific games, as I understand it, there is a much better chance of some of our games being on live TV.

If you’ve got a fairly good modern laptop or tablet you shouldn’t experience many problems Ferrite. If it starts buffering you can try reducing the definition in the viewer settings. Don’t have that problem when I use it these days but did in the past

Thanks DM, I’ve used it in the past for the odd game when SUFC has promoted it but I wasn’t sure what the general rule was.

The problem for Scunny is that now the new owner of Hull City has signed an agreement with Humberside, their first two matches have both been on the main Humberside programme, so Scunny and Grimsby will have to be available for the chaff that is left, in my opinion the teams out of the three clubs should be on the main channels if they are playing away games. IFollower is ok, but it is not like attending games, you have the home comfort obviously, and if your team is playing crap football you have not wasted half a day with travel, car parking, tickets and fuel costs, and arriving back home feeling pig sick. But it is your choice if and when the match is screened.

I use browsec, watch every match that way and have never had a problem.

But the rule is generally non saturday 3pm games are always available in the uk.

Ferrite it won’t let you buy and then not watch. If the matches are ineligible for watching in the uk it will only give you the option to buy an audio pass. If the video pass is available it will work.
