Radio Hull said over and over again that today’s match against Buxton was abandoned, and will have to be replayed. But is that really the case?

I get that they (Buxton) were trying there bollox to kill the game, and the crap ref was the most incompetent most of us has ever seen. But did he blow full time, or was the match abandoned?

He blew full time, but obviously thought better of it in the dressing room for whatever reason, they walked off thinking they had won and we walked off thinking we had lost.

Well the reason DSGM was the pitch had become totally unplayable after a prolonged period of torrential rain that left the ball unable to roll on the pitch and players all over the place just attempting to run never mind kick a football, astonishing scenes not witnessed as bad before at GP, maybe the Gillingham home game from a few seasons back where the pitch was cleaned up at half time and the rain stopped but it was a real mess today. Fans were leaving GP with the front of stands flooded and water up to ankle deep in places between ground and both car parks. I got home and put my socks and trainers outside to try and dry off a bit, just brought them inside and the are still absolutely drenched, really freakish weather conditions it has to be said.

Abandoned according to Dean so now waiting on a ruling to see if the result stands or if it’s to be replayed. A panel decides that. The penalty Elliot took was a joke, you could hardly see the ball and it was sat quarter way up in water.

That ref today was an absolute joker. Poor today but Buxton were absolute shithouses. Dean said that he watched the penalty back which Shrimpton was carded for and he saw their player throwing himself to the floor under no contact and said as he hit the deck he started squealing.

The officials at this level for the most part are shocking. You get a yellow card in this league for Torpey elbowing a CB in the face and get a penalty for that crap they pulled.

I’m 100% certain out goal was a own goal. Keeper dropped and bounced it off the defenders back and into the net I thought.
But Bennett seems to of been credited for it everywhere

If as you say it goes to a panel youve got to think they will let the result stand being so late in the game , will they even take into consideration the conditions when Eliiot took the pen ?

Weve already seen some very bad officials in NLN this year but this guy was utter gash on so many fronts ..totally clueless and inconsistent.
