Played with pride, passion, commitment, and for the the first time in a very long time we had a shape and the players knew the place in it, very encouraging! Starting to think we could be on the up
but we all now when this as happened in the past 5 seasons something has put us back to square one, I know the pessimist is still nagging at me but hopefully it can be banished once and for all by this team, management and board.
Positive signs – what sort of Hull team was it?
2 or 3 missing but still a decent enough side on paper. 2 or 3 from our probable starting 11 not involved either. I see Rosenior has given them a public bollocking which probably confirms we did OK.
When in the last 5 seasons Bartoniron66 have we managed to wreck something if it was promising.
The last 5 years have been text book ‘How to do it wrong if that is what is required’ !
Looked like a decent game and excellent performance ..bodes well for the coming season.
Shrimpton finish was superb and possibly Scunny should of edged it.

I was feeling fairly optimistic after last seasons pre-season and the Yeovil game, I didn’t think we were going to walk the league or anything but I thought we would be higher mid table, I certainly didn’t think we would implode as we did.
Guess you forgot to factor in the Swann effect Pat.
Ah, the original Club Killer. Hope we don’t have a sequel to endure when the current incumbent gets found out
