3 wins for Hill in 37 I think it is !
Hill turns up after the kick off. What’s that all about ?
Nothing really from him all the game from the touch line.
3 0 up and we lose !
What the hell did he tell them at half time ?
We were never going to defend a one goal lead.
But look at all the positives today , we had a singer in a marquee , we had an ice cream van , fish and chip van etc etc.
It’s all smoke and mirrors by Turnbull who has been doing a great job for his boss Mr Swann.
Concentrating on off the field activities etc whist the takeover , that’s if it really exists rumbles on , and a Manager who to say the least is next to useless and players who cannot hold on to a 3 goal lead.
It’s on the field that matters Mr Turnbull !
The Club is a complete and utter shambles and nothings changed.11 users thanked author for this post.

August 20, 2022 at 5:41 pm #243049It was all whistles and bells after the first game…

Fourth bottom after todays game.
It’s only 2/3rds the way through August … yet, it’s going to be a long, long season!August 20, 2022 at 6:03 pm #243064Forgot to mention in the original post that we also have a Clown !
Trouble is he doubles up as the Manager !2 users thanked author for this post.

August 20, 2022 at 6:29 pm #243074It seems like Rochdale is the only place he is able to handle the pressures of Football Management.

August 20, 2022 at 6:33 pm #243075There was no left side of defence at all after half time – and not that much before.
This was a polished side and superior in quality to our team.4 users thanked author for this post.

This was a polished side and superior in quality to our team. How was bringing O’Malley on supposed to improve it? Too many times their no.11 was left unmarked. Hillseemed oblivious to it.

As were Woking and Maidenhead and pretty much every team last season. Where does it stop!?

I’m guessing Ntlhe could not continue as he took a knock first half and that’s the problem, O’Malley not a full back and it showed against a quality winger. We are players short DM and the owner is to blame.

August 20, 2022 at 7:16 pm #243092Ntlhe and Hallam are perma-crocks. I can’t see either racking up many minutes this season.
There’s two wasted spaces in the squad.

August 20, 2022 at 7:16 pm #243093He didn’t turn up after kick off – has been confirmed by Alan Wright he talked to him in the tunnel at 2.10..
August 20, 2022 at 7:31 pm #243096He might as well not have turned up !
Either just stood saying nothing or sat down motionless
Their Manager was and shouting etc all the match.
He never gave the fourth official a moment.
Is Hill really a Football Manager ?
Or is he Mr Swanns way of getting the Club into oblivion ?
3 wins out of 37 says it all and he still has a job !2 users thanked author for this post.
August 20, 2022 at 8:18 pm #243097This the problem we have. Nthle can defend but never stays fit for more than 5 minutes. I don’t know why Hill didn’t move Daniel to LB and just bring on Carver or Nat Wallace to cover his place.
O’Malley is a really a winger and can’t defend so no surprise we were run ragged. Due to a lack of cover at CB we then draft in a RB in Rowe to take the incompetent Taft’s place due to no other viable options.
I don’t for the life of me understand why Hill brought O’Malley on at LB after he subbed him the game before for being a complete liability. Clearly he didn’t think putting a LB who can actually defend there ahead of O’Malley was a sensible enough idea.
Need players in the building but Hill is worrying me. Clearly need another CB ,LB and wide player in. Nthle’s a piss take lasting 45 mins, he should never have been signed.
Both him and Hallam need binning off. Taft can go as well for me.

4 games and its looking bleak .. give Hill 6 more max and if no signings or improvement get rid.
Ask any Tranmere fan a mate here is one and hes predicted everything correct re Hill.. and hes saying theres worse to come until we bin him… clueless and he is using all the same cliches and excuses at Scunny he used at Tranmere..to the letter.
What was the crowd yesterday ??

August 21, 2022 at 9:30 am #243144August 21, 2022 at 9:44 am #243149How many non league teams have sold a player for a £1 million, I honestly don’t know..
August 21, 2022 at 9:51 am #243150None.
Interesting that the top 3 transfers from the National League all went to Peterborough
Lee Tomlin from Rushden and Diamonds to Peterborough in 2010 for £225,000
Shaun Brisley from Macclesfield to Peterborough in 2012 for £350,000
Jack Taylor from Barnet to Peterborough for £500k in 2020.

August 21, 2022 at 9:56 am #243151Hill must go now. Seen it all too often in this league, a club comes down and finds themselves a long way adrift early on. Southend had 8 from 12 games last season, but turned it around. Can’t see Hill turning this around.

How many message board football fans can’t recognise banter when it stares them in the face 🤔
August 21, 2022 at 1:18 pm #243177How about a bit of positivity. Hill signed Nuttall who looks as if he could be worth £1 million in January.
😅😅😅😅😅😅

Wasn’t Vardy to Leicester considered the record for non-league? On a technicality, Fleetwood had been promoted to the league before he signed for Leicester, but he left well before the new season started.

August 21, 2022 at 3:23 pm #243199Ive not being Nuttals greatest fan, but credit where credits due he’s stood up to the task and certainly didn’t deserve to be on the losing side, one of few to take any credit out of the game yesterday.

August 21, 2022 at 4:21 pm #243203He’s here at least for as long as we want him or someone else does. Said on wireless before game yesterday that if the fans didn’t think he was the man for the job he would go. My vote is he goes.
