I think it’s completely unrealistic to expect Nigel Adkins to return whoever becomes the new owner.
“How long do you have to put up with Hill”
————————————————————————
I guess the simple answer is:
He’s ‘in charge’ until he’s not ‘in charge’
If Swann has so called stepped down who makes the decisions with managers?
He hasn’t stepped down ! He may have stepped back into the shadows but what he says goes !
He said he would get the team out of Division 2 – he did that with ease !!
Perhaps his target now is to get us out of the National League !
Regarding the manager – well he needs 10 games with a new squad HE picked, but he wouldn’t have been here for me. Last season we seemed to select to give in and that was shocking. We needed a manager who knows non-league football and someone who wants to actually become a league manager.
NLN – big savings to be made on overnight stays and cheaper coach hire due to proximity of opposition.
A, we have gone down a division
B, we have a stronger squad than last season
C, we have just played 2 of the lower average teams in this league
D, we all know this league is more direct in the play and after the Yeovil game we know it is end to end football not tactical
C, we created loads of chances on Saturday and like usual most are the wrong side of the woodwork, but concede easily
D, do they practice shooting and defending in training
E, what was yesterday’s performance all about, didn’t listen on radio but followed on Twitter and never saw any mention of their keeper being troubled until it was 2=0
F, is Keith overthinking tactics and going for a draw than trying to win away games, we are in a continuation from where we were last season, that’s 13 away without a win and 1 in nearly 40, mindset all wrong
G, how many of you feel we can get something out of a game when we go a goal behind
H, we are always going to get results and performances throughout a season like the last two, but we never seem to see one were we dominate away from home and start banging a few goals in, it’s a continuation and the coaching staff need a rethink because it is Groundhog Day every away game
I, just hope the home form doesn’t follow suit because with the players we have we should be a top half of the league club
Hillbuilds team now and he has accepted responsibility ,possibly someone hadn’t done their homework on Woking with that many tactical changes during the game. Let the dust settle and hope for improvement against a good Solihull outfit. See how we are two months in . Thought we might struggle at Woking but expected three points at Maidenhead. A bit too early in the season to be shouting for his head though he is doing himself no favours, he needs to get his tactics right pre match to give his players half a chance
How long before he puts the young un’s back in?
How long before he puts the young un’s back in?
If he doesn’t recruit the four older heads required to make up the squad, that’s when.
Sad to see Delaney in Morecambe’s team yesterday.
