As usual, mates rewarded for doing their support, civil servants for just doing their jobs etc .
Despite the extraordinary nepotism of Boris Johnson and Liz Truss’s list the right wing press are having a field day because Britain’s most successful Asian politician got a gong.
Ironically the 1st papers to cry of this anachronism was done away with ,as it should in a democracy, would be the ones crying now

The access and closeness to power brings influence and their ability to hold up parliament also is real.So yes it matters to us all who think our votes mean something.It’s like what we’re seeing with Musk right now but in a very British sneaky way
