First impression of the third kit, ‘it looks mint’.
Bloody good job all round for all 3 kits, made it hard for themselves next season to surpass them.August 15, 2024 at 10:51 am #289504Love the sentiment behind the third shirt and the video is quality, but as a Scunthorpe shirt it’s horrific IMO. Will stick to buying the home/away.

August 15, 2024 at 11:10 am #289517The videos have been excellent the kits are all excellent IMO and the club has done a fantastic job, special mention to James Moody, nice one lad.

August 15, 2024 at 5:12 pm #289526The 3rd strip has just put this club way above any other. What a set of shirts, have to say not seen any trio better than that from this level all the way down to the Premiership.
Then as people say the presentation videos with the story for each organised by James and the team just push it even further.
What a way to set the club on the path to regain league status.

August 15, 2024 at 8:04 pm #289530I think this season has signaled a departure from our previous ‘launches’. No more Aston Villa /West Ham ‘pseudo last season’s kits’, but a genuine attempt to stamp our own identity on the shirts. Credit to Kelme, as the 3rd kit must have provided a challenge probably unparalleled in the world of 6th tier kits. I think the launches have been super and can only hope now that supply will meet the overwhelming demand that is evident from the response on all media platforms. UTI.

Just like looking out of my (east facing) bedroom window circa 1969.

August 19, 2024 at 9:27 am #289652How are peoples shirts holding up? I bought one for my nephew and he’s worn it twice and it looked a state already on Saturday. Misshapen, pulled and badge coming away. Wondering if it’s a quality issue or if his mother has put it on a boil!
August 19, 2024 at 10:06 am #289655Is it to do with the Nottinghamshire water?
August 19, 2024 at 3:57 pm #289688Football shirts are supposed to be washed on a cool setting and turned inside out to protect the stitching of the club crest/badge.
What you’re describing iron414 usually happens when it’s been washed on a far too high temp.
You can also put the shirt in a thin muslin wash bag to further protect it. You can buy them from e-bay fairly cheaply.
August 19, 2024 at 4:01 pm #289689aren’t all football shirt wearers out of shape?

August 19, 2024 at 5:57 pm #289710Like the home and away can’t say I’m a big fan of the third kit. Sentiment great, idea great it just looks a bit garish to me. I hope they sell hundreds but the first team have no cause to use it.
August 19, 2024 at 9:01 pm #289724I think that’s the general idea behind most third kits.
August 19, 2024 at 9:22 pm #289727Do you work in a launderette WG? Some expert advice there lad!
Ha !. No, I can’t say I do. I used to have that happen all the time though as a kid buying shirts when my dear Old Mother used to abuse the washer’s temperature dial.
I also wash trainers few times a year in a muslin drawstring bag with some trainer cleaner popped in each trainer and it’s never done them any harm. They come up very clean and never had stitching come out. Cool wash and pop more delicate items in a bag and it prevents damage when they rattle around or catch on the drum.
If you use that as a mantra you can’t go wrong.

August 19, 2024 at 10:03 pm #289734I hope WG gets his aprons and marigolds from an authorised source, wouldn’t want his hands getting chapped from using an inferior product.
