Well at least if it’s a freebie. Starmer accepting over £35.000 in football freebies.
    Man of the people lol.
Perhaps Stu could start a fundraising event for him, and I’ll donate my winter fuel allowance to him “whoops he just nicked it”,and the club could send him a bobble hat ala Boris the poor man.
    Meanwhile

Agreed. Rishi received more than Starmers freebies most weeks on helicopter rides.

Funnily enough they didn’t warrant a mention on Sky News let alone the 10 minute slot they just spent on Starmers footy and Taylor Swift tickets. The righteous indignation would have been better focused on how tickets to half a dozen Arsenal games cost in excess of £30k.

It would be in the government accounts if that be the case MK but it isn’t, the helicopters were paid for from tax money same has government cars.
Don’t think he went to the footie in the helicopters anyway.
Interesting that the premier league gave him the most freebies out of anyone very cheap lobbying imo.

Sadly, awaywego the 14 years of kind, benevolent Tory government has come to an end. If only they could have continued paying you a heating allowance in return for you believing they were actually bothered about you, but alas it is not to be. Never mind you’ve still got Hilton’s signed Ilkeston shirt to remind you of a happier time.

And ours and Burys football ground’s. And not forgetting a Steelworks and industry that made virgin steel.
Shows they were bothered with my town.

Bothered about the fact your town had a Tory MP, so pulled out all the stops to try and keep it that way. My city had three Labour MP’s and missed out on levelling up funds on several occasions.

And the Lincolnshire Lakes Project, don’t forget the Lincolnshire Lakes Project.
How much money did the club lose on that con trick?

Whatever next an MP looking after the interests of their constituents. Our present incumbent didn’t even turn up for an urgent question on steel manufacturing.

Don’t worry. They are currently building on an M181 connection from Burringham Road, so I am sure it’s progressing just as Waltham said it would when Swann got ahead of himself and thought we could say farewell to Glanford Park in 2015-16..

Now that roundabout will be of use, unlike the other one which I refer to as “Tevye’s roundabout” (One going nowhere just for fun).
