As it’s tradition I assume Hartlepool will all come dressed up in fancy dress for their last away game (us) let’s hope they don’t come dressed as clowns as we wont be able to tell them apart from our 11 players

Yes MK Iron, just find out who is the Scunny kit provider and you have your answer, they have been on sale all season in our club shop at GP, and are numbered so you do not get yours fixed up with the players.

I knew a Darlo fan back in the days of Feethams and when the derby with Hartlepool came to town they would hang toy monkeys on elastic from parts of the old home end roof to wind up the Hartlepool fans. Don’t know how they got them up there, must have employed monkeys to do it.

What was the year that they all came in fancy dress, were marched up from the Britannia, dumped in the Donny road end at the old show ground and pandemonium ensued ? My memory fails some times.

Probably not that great cup replay on a Tuesday or Wednesday night early to mid 80s that we won (3-2?). Great night that was. Feisty atmosphere at the back of the DRE
