On the positive we have an 100% win record against them, on the negative we have an 100% win record against them.

I see our game has made it on to Soccer 6 given the international break. Gave me no pleasure to predict a 3-0 home win.

If Cox has learned from Tuesday about the need to create chances – there is some small cause to be a tad optimistic.
    I hope Manny is fit!

It will be 4/4/2 as Cox said the other day that it was promising with the chances we created. I think Swann must have gotten into his ear because let’s face it, he should have been playing 4/4/2 much earlier anyway.

Cox and his tedious 5 at the back nonsense. No doubt we’ll create chances playing a 4/4/2 with actual wingers and Loft with Scrimshaw/Hallam…real question is if we can actually defend properly.

Manny I rate even though he’s prone to lapses in concentration and tends to be a bit rash at times but Taft since he’s signed on a perm has been pretty awful and I don’t really rate Davis either to be honest.

Well having seen the team I am concerned.

The changes indicate targeting. Why is Mr Cox unable to play the same squad 2 games running ?
They players never have a chance. And after the tuesday comments re Hackney & Pugh I guess Tom Pugh is injured.

This is not acceptable against any criteria. I hold firstly Swann and secondly Cox responsible for this wretched performance. At this rate, we are going non-League. After supporting the Iron for 68 years, I do not anticipate doing so for much longer.

Harrogate 5 shots on target, Scunthorpe 0 shots on target = 5-0

Yep it’s going great, are our expectations low enough for you now Mr Chairman to satisfy your overblown ego? Just put us up for sale and piss off.

    Fans supported. Players gave up

Takes quite a disillusioned soul to spin that

If I were the owner I’d be refunding fans tickets, put my own pocket not the companies. Not only the decent thing to do but a smart one. Some goodwill gestures like that might just get fans back onside.

Only results on the pitch and the chairman gone along with his incompetent coaches will get the fans back.

Serves you feckers right. You didn’t touch your forlocks and bow in adoration.

So he took his ball home and his money (and the clubs assets) and took you out of the league.

That will teach you to be more appreciative of the great and the good!

PS it’s your fault (and Covid)

OK Cox is not good enough but if Swann gives him a low budget obviously you get players who are not even good enough for the football league. The situation at the moment means Swann can prove that the club is not viable and can now turn the ground into a construction site END OF SUFC

I genuinely feel sorry for Neil Cox.

He was given absolute shambles of a team, a greatly reduced budget and a toxic environment to try and turn around.

His main qualifications for the job were he was a Scunthorpe lad and he promised not to argue with or bad mouth the club ownership.

He has tried manfully and seems to have worked very hard at it. I appreciate both. One day he will realise how lucky he is to be out of it – which surely will happen soon.

There is only one person to blame for this shit show and it is not Neil Cox.

That is enough now, don’t blame a well below average team, or for that matter a manager who has had to work with no actual support.

This is down to Swann and his little board of signets. He can blame COVID, and any of the managers he has hired then fired. The buck stops with him, and we all know it.

We need this dickhead to resign it’s chairmanship now, and give way to someone with more experience. Even if he can’t sell his controlling shares, we need, nay deserve, better.

Without Swann in charge, we might well get some outside investment. Without which we can’t expect to sign any, even half decent players in January.

    UTBI 🙁
