I’d heard similar and am glad.She should go a hero. There’s a lot of ridiculous claims of being legends on here the last few days . Michelle will leave as a true one

Quite right she has done a magnificent job and will always be remembered as an Iron legend, she’s a grandma and should get as much time and enjoyment out of her life with her grandchildren as she can, everyone has a shelf life.

Indeed. She gets thanks for steadying the ship in the time of need and given this year’s drama, likely initiated by one of the other board members and the CEO, I do not blame her for wanting a more relaxed time.
Her fight for the club in a dark year will cement her as a legend. Hopefully soem of the others (well, one in particular) buck their ideas up and realise what is important.

But oh my God that plate giff. Not much offends me but that does, the whole thing seeing her has a religious icon (don’t know if that’s the right term) In Loving Tribute its as though shes dead already.

Everyone says virtually the same. Cannot imagine the pressure she was under and you cannot carry that weight for long.

Michelle deserves a statue for saving our club.
I genuinely think there was only her that could have pulled it off, being able to negotiate with swann and Hilton, and gave credibility and confidence to individuals and the council to contribute funds. Sharp certainly couldn’t.

It’s been on the cards for months although I doubt she’ll be pleased it’s been made public on here.
Despite the public displays on the pitch of unity by the 4 owners it’s been far from the case, although the same could be said in any business.
I suspect she’ll be of the opinion she’s taken the club as far as she can and unfortunately some of the owners are determined to take the club in a different direction.
