Without Lavery and Shrimpton I suspect things will turn ugly soon and we could start getting hammered.

Getting hammered might be the best option right now. Come round when it’s all over.

Shrimpton out approx six weeks at the moment, suspected slight ankle ligament damage as a result of the injury he sustained against Woking.

With Carver another long term absentee, who will start up top? They were trying to get Bickerstaff from Wrexham on loan but think that involved Lavery going the other way…

Thought we were operating under an embargo?

    When’s the tax deadline anyone?

Isn’t that for additions to the squad, I believe it we move players on or they leave we can replace with loans, I think but SST might confirm or correct.

I think the National League make the rules up as they go along. I gather they have not been particularly clear or forthcoming with definitive info.
Pretty sure LT will be on to them first thing with regards trying to bring in a replacement for Lavery.

We took a hefty following to Halifax in the FA Cup in 1968, attendance was close on 8,000. We lost. UTWI

1-0 as I recall Barrie, wasn’t Alan Balls dad the Halifax manager at the time 🤔

    On the opposition, he said:
    “They’re good”
So says the Vice Admiral on the OWS.

    Home results:
    P12 W7 D2 L3

    Away results:
    P13 W2 D3 L8

Might be another defeat for us?

and dont forget where one of their 2 aways was – when their form was nearly as bad as ours.

Nothing like being ripped a new one on national tv.

I see Daniel has said he enjoys playing up front, might be our best option and a chance for O’Malley. Starting Poulter would be a big risk IMO.

    Start the lad.
    Good enough, old enough.
    Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
We’ve nowt to lose. You can’t drop any lower than last place in the league.
    We need goal scorers.
Throw Poulter & Fleming Sellars both on.
    4-4-2
    Be brave Horatio.
    In it, to win it.

    Halifax 1-3 Scunny @ 40/1
That’s got to be worth £2.50 to get £102.50 back? Possibly 🤔💰🤔
