In the last 4 games we have played:-
The team bottom of the league – we lost.
A team that gave us 3 goals start – we lost.
A team that gave us an extra man for over an hour – we lost.

Halifax are now bottom of the league, if they give us a 3 goal start and an extra man for an hour do you think we might nick a point?

Halifax are a good side don’t be fooled by their position. They’ve lost good players to Grimsby but they will be no pushover. Can’t see a positive outcome from this.

I remember4 Halifax coming to the OSG in the late sixties ( 1968 I think ) with Mick Buxton at right back, believe they won 1-0, was a night match too. Memories are made of this, good old Dean Martin ( the singer not the former Iron player )

Our total history against Halifax is that we have beaten them twice as many times as they beat us. Not many draws so maybe we (or they) are due a draw.

That is where my tenner is going.

I’ve been looking at the crowds the last couple of years to get an idea of what the Fans think, but if there are freebies being dished out again(or was that just to make us look good on BT?)that will distort it.

Something’s got to give in terms of result, doubt it will be today.

According to bbc we have no sub keeper and only 4 subs. I thought Hill Billy would have loved the opportunity to put a young trainee goalkeeper on the bench.
