These are starting to overlap a bit!

Name the 16 grounds that have staged league football since 1950 that we haven’t played at. Four of them no longer exist…

White City hasn’t been used since WWII has it? Thames FC were 1920s/early 30s I think?

    AFC Wimbledon- Plough Lane(New Ground)

Did we ever play at the original Wimbledon’s Plough Lane?

What about Milton Keynes when they played at the hockey stadium?

How about The Dell at Southampton?

we played at Plough Lane I went there twice, a 1-0 defeat and a 1-1 draw.
I think Southampton was in the old division 2 in the 60s so we will have played at The Dell

We played away to Coventry in the FA Cup in 1934, 1935 and 1954, I think these games would have been at Highfield Road

sorry, miss read it, but we have played MK Dons at the Hockey Stadium.

They were still the original Wimbledon when they played at the Hockey Stadium.

Ooh, that’s a controversial way of looking at it. You’re right in some ways, wrong in other ways!

Not wrong Ferrite, MKIron is wrong

I’ve just looked up the match details for the game at the hockey stadium and the league table and it says MK Dons, and we played there on 27th September 2005

Initially based at the National Hockey Stadium, the club competed as Milton Keynes Dons from the start of the 2004–05 season

As I predicted, Wimbledon controversy!😀 However, who we played there is irrelevant.

Avenue Stadium (Dorchester) and The Millenium Stadium are correct. Ironic is right about Highfield Road, 1934 (0-7), 1935 (1-1) and 1954 (0-4).

    Three to go…
