Unfortunately I’m not on Facebook so don’t know what has been said. That Twitter link I posted now doesn’t exist, it was the one that had asked Hilton about what was happening and revealed the plan b ground share with a non league club.

Appears that Swann has left more debts than we first feared; creditors crawling out the woodwork now demanding money.

It’s Not is necessarily Hilton’s fault, but taking to social media won’t be doing anyone any favours.

To me you have to be patient and give the bloke a chance, too many rumours and you don’t know whether to believe them or not, all this bickering isn’t helping anyone and getting on the blokes back isn’t the answer, and if he walked away you won’t have a club and it could be the fans fault.

1) On 25/01/23 it was announced by the club that Hilton was the new owner.

2) 07/04/23 – Listen from 53min 37secs, Hilton commented on the financial position he inherited – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmPr9RIiKyA.

3) From Hilton becoming the owner and him doing the interview with IronArmy in April, suppliers to the club will have sent a statement of account to the club at the end of January, February and March. A purchase ledger controller will reconcile the supplier’s statement against the club’s records. Are we saying that none of these creditors sent a statement of account to the club at the end of January, February and March and only crawled out of the woodwork after the IronArmy podcast in early April?

I think he has a right to say what he said. I don’t think there is anything wrong with it personally with all the shit he’s copping. I think I’d snap if I was in his position.

Hilton maybe Swann mark 2 but why not give the bloke a chance first to see if he actually does what he says he’s going to.

I can’t comment on what ifs, neither can you. I can only comment on the evidence seen outside of private messages, which doesn’t show a plethora of abuse, outside of fantasy land.

If Hilton is claiming abuse, he needs to specify how he is getting it, because otherwise we have people just believing it based on nothing and shutting up people for daring to be sceptical or criticise. A screenshot of the abuse in messages (names of the abusers redacted) would be enough to demonstrate this. As it hasn’t been shared, I will not just assume of such existence of this ‘abuse.’

I have not insinuated anything, and my post suggests nothing of the sort, my point was that just because you have not seen or heard the abuse does not mean it didn’t happen. If somebody told me they had been abused I wouldn’t expect them to prove it to me unless I was the being accused of the abuse.
