Cod’s game tomorrow off due to positive test in the squad and others having to isolate.
Why did we have to play 2 games without McAtee and an other but theirs is off?
Not saying it’s the wrong decision but there needs to be consistency.
Team in Scotland had all 3 keepers out with COVID and weren’t allowed to postpone.
September 25, 2020 at 7:06 pm #195067Plus others including Warnock, Moyes and even Zlatan!
Shouldn’t this be telling us something?
September 25, 2020 at 7:56 pm #195069#gtfc chairman Philip Day reveals to @AndyComfort
@RadioHumberside
that their next THREE games are off following youth player Jock Curran testing positive for COVID-19.I thought the agreed protocol was that infected players weren’t identified?
September 25, 2020 at 8:25 pm #195070It’s up to whether the players want to remain anonymous I believe.
So 3 games off for a youth team player?
We lost arguably our best player for 2 games, played on & got 1 point.
Doesn’t seem right.
But if we carry on as we are season will be off before Christmas anyway.
September 25, 2020 at 8:33 pm #195071We have 2 positives in the U18s.
September 26, 2020 at 8:46 am #195074Shouldn’t this be telling us something? Yes. Unless we get herd immunity or a vaccine we are going to go round and round in circle, avoiding anyone and everyone.
September 26, 2020 at 8:59 am #195075As we don’t have a vaccine I would be interested to know what level of UK Covid related deaths you think is acceptable for you to gain your herd immunity?
September 26, 2020 at 9:54 am #195078Not down to me, but at the start the chief medical officer said 60%. You have to admit the first lockdown hasnt had much effect it appears it is still rife so like i say it is just going to be stop start. We know Scunny, the cods, and Orient are testing but Hull refuse to test so what does that tell you.
September 26, 2020 at 1:47 pm #195082The first lockdown had a big effect. Then we came out and idiots started being idiots again and we’re back to where we started.
September 26, 2020 at 1:51 pm #195083I see you’re on SUFC Twitter today DSGM, pretty rare footage that I reckon.:-)

Living up to his name! 2 goals from inside the 6 yard box.
Much more common to see him missing from that distance.
Remember him missing from less than a yard out once.September 26, 2020 at 3:16 pm #195088Of course the lockdown had a big effect, but then people went out,Is it the footballers you calling idiots?
September 26, 2020 at 5:41 pm #195104You have to admit the first lockdown hasnt had much effect
Really???
I think you may have the graph upside down!
September 26, 2020 at 6:21 pm #195110Of course the lockdown had a big effect, but then people went out,Is it the footballers you calling idiots?
Some of them are certainly idiots but in no bigger % than the general population probably.
It’s not their fault what is happening and I’m certainly not laying the blame at their door.
You’ll have to forgive my confusion about what effect you think the lockdown has had though. You’re about as clear as Boris.
September 26, 2020 at 9:02 pm #195119Sorry DSGM were about on the same page really, Lockdown has a big effect until we go out we have both said it just in different ways.
September 28, 2020 at 9:37 am #195157Remember him missing from less than a yard out once.
Was it the Bedlington Terriers game where he took the ball round the keeper, looked up at the DRE and smiled as the entire crowd shouted “MAN ON!” and the recovering defender took the ball off him?
