Scunthorpe 3-0 Boston
Att: 4,277January 2, 2024 at 2:54 am #278635I’m sticking with my Scunthorpe 3-0 Boston but I think the crowd will be bigger.
I think the attendance will be more 4,775January 2, 2024 at 3:49 am #278636early prediction.
Hoping Chappo has a stinker !!
Scunny 3-1
Att 4,667January 4, 2024 at 6:17 am #278754They are pressing for a play off spot and were 2-0 winners over Kings Lynn in their last game.
2,670 at the match.
A decent first goal.
I think they’ll enjoy playing at GP and should fetch a few with them.
I think my original prediction was overly optimistic and I’m reassessing.Scunthorpe 2-1 Boston @ 7/1
Att: 4,775January 4, 2024 at 7:42 am #278755Doesn’t look like they’ve sold many so far .
January 4, 2024 at 8:28 am #278756Looking forward to my first game this season and bringing along 3 others for what I’m hoping will be a 3 – 0 win. UTI

January 4, 2024 at 11:17 am #278760I would predict SCUNTHORPE 2 BOSTON 0
GATE BEING ABOUT 3,927
January 4, 2024 at 11:25 am #278764Doesn’t look like they’ve sold many so far .
At least 200 so far, all away transport sold out.
January 4, 2024 at 11:31 am #278765I was thinking that they’d bring about 500.
January 4, 2024 at 11:46 am #278767Some have been talking of it as a Lincolnshire derby. I have to admit that I cannot see Boston as a rival or a derby. It’s almost East Anglia.
January 4, 2024 at 12:39 pm #278768They will probably bring more Rene 348 so far.
January 4, 2024 at 12:47 pm #278769Boston is only 21 miles from the Cambridgeshire border.
It’s only 23 miles from the Norfolk border.
It’s 70 miles ground to ground and 1 hour 45 minutes travelling.
Scarborough 70 miles, 1 hour 45 mins
Notts County 70 miles, 1 hour 30 mins
Grantham Town 63 miles
Huddersfield 62 miles
Bradford 59 milesJanuary 4, 2024 at 12:48 pm #278770Doesn’t look like they’ve sold many so far .
At least 200 so far, all away transport sold out.
Seems a low turnout. I’m sure last time they came years ago they brought 5-600
January 4, 2024 at 12:56 pm #278771Just looking on their site and Wow Their super lotto puts ours to shame paying out £3000 a week in prizes yes a week not a month earning their club at least £3000 a week for the club, our club must do better to promote ours hopefully what one of the new employees will get a grip of.

January 4, 2024 at 12:59 pm #278772Boston’s ground is equidistant of Glanford Park and Kings College, Cambridge +/- a mile.
It’s hardly a derby.
A game between two clubs at opposing poles of the county.

That’s better. I think they’ll do 500 easily.

January 4, 2024 at 1:05 pm #278775Ì think it’s safe to assume a number of you haven’t got a new marketing role at GP. Agree though, ‘derby’ is a stretch.

Yeah, I too saw that and that 20% goes to them.
Have Boston possibly done a copy & paste exercise and inadvertently forgotten to change the SUFC to Boston United?
If not, does any Sheffield United involvement break any rules?
January 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm #278786It would appear that there’s also an admin or VAT fee too?

January 4, 2024 at 2:33 pm #278788If you check your bank receipt for ours it says its been paid to Mansfield Town FC
January 4, 2024 at 2:40 pm #278789There were definitely some issues with how the first payment was displayed on bank statements, but I think it has been rectified. The most recent payment I made said it was paid to Scunthorpe United FC.
