See the lesser spotted German (KDT) started the game! I can’t understand the thinking with him, He is on a two year contract so it would cost us to pay up his contract.

If we can’t afford to pay his contract up why haven’t we given him a squad number, then at least have him available if we get a stack of injuries he is then registered in the squad and can play if needed.

Also the almost as rare Jarvis didn’t feature, is he injured again or just not in the managers plans even though he has a squad number.

KDT didn’t look good. Poor touch, bullied by non-league defenders and can’t pass either. Unsurprising he doesn’t have a squad number.

Wilson and Jessop were the pick of the players for me. Perry plays nice diagonal balls and looked comfortable. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Kenyon and Perry CM for Swindon.

Watson cam e for the ball and dropped it in the box and they nearly scored and was very quiet throughout, no organising the back line.

Good freekick from O’Malley, good to see Hallam start and play pretty well too.

    Roll on Saturday UTI

Yes, IL – that was pretty much the impression given from Twitter.

    Two young CBs developing fast.
Two good young forwards in the making.
A super young winger – nice work, Tony!

I hope you get to see a lot more of Cameron Wilson, he was impressive when he first appeared in the U18s – he was from the U16s at the time.

KDT’s head & shoulders pic has disappeared, at the moment just his name. Another excellent 2 year contract awarded – how much of the £11 million debt came from that inspired signing ??

Yes. He got on at Grantham for a short while.
Great to hear your opinion about him, BI66.

Greetings all. I thought it was an entertaining pre season game and I was really impressed with your number 2. Granted you was playing a team 3 divisions lower than yourselves, but he looks a good prospect. How many of the first team squad were playing, as like somebody else said, there was a couple of players in your team that did seem to get bullied by the gingerbreads forward line at times. All the best for the coming season.

I used to go to watch the Gingerbreads when I broke my arm in the late 60s with Tony Farmer their centre half and they played a number of midweek games, I liked to go to their old London Road ground.
