Recent trends would suggest Tony Daws as a likely candidate.
April 15, 2022 at 10:34 am #235602Well if that happens Tash nobody could say there not his player’s with our likely squad.

April 15, 2022 at 11:39 am #235609Not many relegated clubs keep the same manager for the following season (unless your Grimsby … Neil Woods 2010/11).
Or Nigel Adkins in 2008.

As I stated , not many do …. but how many have when relegated out of the football league?
…. and yes,(before anybody mentions it) Darryl Clarke did with Bristol Rovers, taking them back up in the 2015 play off final, although he was only appointed in March 2014.I don’t want Keith Hill sacked as I think he is doing an excellent job for your club (well I would say that wouldn’t I). But, has PS given Lee Turnbull total control in regards to this department.
I guess it will all become clear in the quite immediate future.Bob (the Mariner)
April 15, 2022 at 12:34 pm #235621As you say bob you haven’t a clue and neither have we, it’s a role the average football supporter is used to playing.

Play without a care, with no fear, be bold, be brave… your time will come.
The sun may be setting on this day – but a new dawn beckons and the sunrise will illuminate our path to the promised land.
A safe and enjoyable journey to all the fans travelling to the game – YOU are Scunthorpe United!April 15, 2022 at 8:07 pm #235707Today was just another part of Keiths masterplan. Just the sort of performance that will fill the ground next year.NOT. Come back Alan Knill. Only joking ! Next year we will struggle to assemble a fire drill. How much more bollocks can we take.

April 15, 2022 at 8:30 pm #235711He is clueless, made us worse then any Cox team which was bad, the players he has brought in are utter shite.
Took us out of the league with an absolute whimper and having conceded goal after goal without us ever firing off a shot in anger, then turned to the kids, which was clueless and hopeless!!!!!!!!
Quite simply we need to draw a line on the Pawn years and he is the last bastion of those sad times, he has to GO.

April 15, 2022 at 8:30 pm #235712Whilst Swann is responsible for where we find ourselves, Keith Hill has not improved our team/squad in any shape or form.
You would expect an experienced, and supposedly successful, manager to at least get a higher level of performance out of them than the previous (and unsuccessful) manager did. But no. NOTHING!!!
A full clean out would be best. So Hill needs to go.

April 15, 2022 at 9:06 pm #235720Lincoln fan in peace.
It’s not nice down there. It’s now all about togetherness and there was no togetherness at Lincoln before and for a good few years after our relegation. It’s not an easy road to get out, particularly with S***n still hanging around, but there is still hope.
Glanford Park is the nearest stadium to where I live so although a Lincoln fan I have an ‘affinity’ if you like to local teams (bar Doncaster).
Best of luck.

April 15, 2022 at 9:09 pm #235722Lincoln kept Steve Tilson despite failing to get just two points in the last 12 games that would have saved us. Some ludicrous decisions, such as refusing to use Joe Anyon in goal and putting in an Aston Villa scholar who shed 5, 6 goals a game and already telling players he didn’t want them weeks before.
You guys need a complete clean sweep over the summer – basically flush away the turds of this year and start the bog afresh, with a decent amount of bleach down it too.

I would also say if you guys still have a fan director on board – use him. Make sure he talks to the fans, remains close to what the fans think and pass that up the chain of command. He should also be the one calling for everyone to be together.

April 25, 2022 at 12:27 pm #236358Ernest put us in the coffin, but Keith has nailed the lid on.
Players choosing not to play because they did not want to get injured?
We are heading to the National League north.

April 25, 2022 at 4:39 pm #236374Carling v real ale, aka fizzy chemicals v warm gravy. Fizzy chemicals for me every time. 😜
April 25, 2022 at 5:00 pm #236376Never drink anything that gives you a hangover before it gets you drunk.
You can get good lager type beer without a cocktail of chemicals. You just have to make sure it was brewed in Germany or Czech Republic.
April 25, 2022 at 5:37 pm #236382I think my mate had Fosters. I had the in house Spartan Smooth.
Yes, that’s an in house beer at a NL(N) club.
Wasn’t that something else Swanny promised us back in 2013?
April 25, 2022 at 5:47 pm #236383I’ll have Fosters too, cue the marsupial urine quips. 😁
Oh and MKI, German and Czech lager is fine, but I still prefer Carling. 🙂May 7, 2022 at 5:01 pm #236871Made us an absolute embarrassment between.
Hilldo and Ernest must go.
May 7, 2022 at 5:03 pm #236873Can’t see how a new owner can honestly trust Hill with rebuilding the club! Thought Cox was bad but Hills record is truly abysmal, between them both Swann and Hill have made us a laughing stock.

May 7, 2022 at 5:12 pm #236875I know Hill has had a difficult time with the squad he’s been given by the club but god, he has done a truly awful job. Each week we seem to rise to new levels of rubbish, I cannot see why we would want to keep him next season!
We need a complete clear out, including Hill!

May 7, 2022 at 5:18 pm #236876I don’t do religion but thank the lord that shit show of a season is over.
Unfortunately the shit show has been going on for four years.
Only one man to blame but I think we should clear out the lot including Hill, McMahon and Muzzy.
Get Crozzer in and start from scratch.

Has been offered the job in the past, turned it down.
May 7, 2022 at 5:37 pm #236887Taxi for hill. Total embarrassment tactically inept manager could not build an airfix kit never mind a football team. Came to save us from relegation failed .
