Time to go mate. Love the accent but it ends there.
Made no telling difference to results or performances, same old same old, crap players out crap players in, when asked if you undertood the magnitude of the task you said “YES”.
Then 2 months later told us what we already knew, we had crap players, then you have messed about with the team, made poor decisions when we had players sent off, and made no difference to results or league position and then began chucking in poor 16 year olds as great saviour’s.
Cox left you a massive cowpat but crawling up Ernest Pawns arse did now’t to endear the fans to you!

April 2, 2022 at 8:14 pm #234839Yep can’t agree more tbh. Not exactly seen a dramatic change bar from another shed load of cart horses.
Surely LT’s first job to get the knife sharpened and strike.
But as LT is Swanns foil do we think the never ending rotating managers door will slow down?

April 3, 2022 at 9:50 am #234869Ain’t gonna happen nor should it, the problem is the owner and the way he perceives a professional football club should be run, till he goes nothing will change and that includes bringing in manager after manager ad nauseam with the same outcome. New owners, fresh ideas and the knowledge of how letting managers and playing staff work together with a reasonable budget, decent professional scouting and the ability to allow the people you employ are given the time, space and resources to build something for the future. Another knee jerk reaction to a one nil away defeat to the best team in the division is not what’s required now. Bring on this bloody statement and let’s hope the main culprit is selling up and we get OUR ground back in the process, not holding my breath on both those outcomes but we can all hope.

April 3, 2022 at 9:56 am #234871All manager’s should be given at least 2 transfer window’s. Hill didn’t have the money in January and player’s were sold without his say so. I hope he is given a chance to rebuild next season and with LT help with his contacts see how we go.

April 3, 2022 at 11:24 am #234884Until Hill comes out and says the players were sold without his say-so, we have to assume otherwise and that it was his choice to let them go, after all Hill is supposed to be his own man. And Swanny is letting him ostracize Jarvis, if your right FI that’s another reason why we don’t want him here next season.

To me it indicates that Swann is letting Hill pick the team he wants. That hasn’t always seemed the case in the past.
April 3, 2022 at 11:49 am #234887That’s fair Case, but what about the letting go of players?
April 3, 2022 at 12:01 pm #234889As you say, speculation only. Will we ever know?
April 3, 2022 at 1:10 pm #234891Got to be honest has been a great disappointment.
Surely the first thing is setting up a stable formation and get players used to it week in and out. Then reduce weekly starting line up changes to a minimum. We have had players come back too early from injury and then out injured for longer. We have square pegs in round holes – AGAIN !!
Targeting is evident. The January recruitment was woeful ! They signed unfit players for goodness sake ! Only one person responsible for me. Get someone in who knows that level and then they will have a chance.
April 3, 2022 at 3:10 pm #234899I’m surprised any players chose to come here in January given the position we were/are in.
Anyone half decent and match fit would surely have had other suitors.
The odds were already stacked against us.

April 3, 2022 at 6:51 pm #234911Feck the revolving door to the managers office, that is part of the reason we are heading for non league obscurity.
Hill came here with a good record for getting poor teams out of the sh*t. He has promised to stay on, even when we do get relegated. If he does stay remains to be seen. But if he does, then let us see how many of his own signings opt to stay, and if he can get any more to sign.
Nobody seems to get a good chance to show us what they can do here (except Cox). Next season could be a nightmare whatever we do. So let us start by giving this manager a chance to take us back up.

April 3, 2022 at 7:17 pm #234913Other than Swanny giving Alexander 113 games Bobbins 71 games a good chance to Cox’s 69 your bang on right LK.😂 Lol.
April 3, 2022 at 7:39 pm #234916Revolving door works okay for Watford. The reason a lot come and a lot fail isn’t due to the length of time they’re given.

Bad comparison DM, you could say the same of Chelsea at different times over the last 15 years or so, the difference? Both those clubs have money to burn compared to us so I believe our lower level restricts our options manager wise based on being skint. We can’t afford to keep changing managers and must play things a different longer way. Premier clubs can afford in the main to chop and change.

April 3, 2022 at 9:03 pm #234930Popular opinion says we aren’t going to win another game this season, yet a lot of posters want a manager who will have won 2 in 33 games to be here next season, astonishing! why? when most of the same posters have wanted rid of most other managers under Swann with better records.

I’m hoping none, can anyone honestly say they’ve been a revelation?
No exactly pulled up any trees since hill came in.
Just a different type of dog turd we’ve witnessed.1 user thanked author for this post.

Ditto, I believe on this occasion the thanks have it.
April 4, 2022 at 9:47 am #234952Do you want him to go to Toronto
It’s better to run to Toronto than to run to somewhere you don’t want to.
TBH, I felt that Hill’s post-match comments on Saturday suggested he may not be on as firm ground as he originally thought. I got the impression he may not be staying next season after all.

Oh Touché!
Their matches were played at a higher level. Cox was a bloody disaster that should have been given the boot a lot sooner.

April 5, 2022 at 1:05 am #234994I was happy when Hill came in but alas for what ever reasons been a massive let down and this building for the future tag is very tedious !! …the future is mid table NL or even lower level league for the next decade.
Im still predicting he will pushed or not jump ship sooner rather than later…and whose to say its for the betterment of the club ..his record is woeful no hiding the facts and stats

April 5, 2022 at 9:00 am #234996Not just the results, it’s the lack of any positives. What sort of football does a Keith Hill team play? We still have no idea. We don’t score more goals under Hill. Our defence isn’t any better. It’s very hard to see any progress at all.

April 5, 2022 at 9:28 am #234997There’s been progress in the Prediction League. A guaranteed 7 points every week, The Iron to lose and not score.

April 9, 2022 at 2:43 pm #235235Shrimpton at cleggy town yesterday to first eleven today. Would seem like Hilly is totally lost.
April 9, 2022 at 2:51 pm #235237I see Keiths logic now, he thinks he’s a lucky charm his 3 games on the bench have yielded 5 points, right now try the reverse by removing Rory it can’t do any harm.
