Following on from a previous discussion awaywego and I were having about having to pay a bit more for quality food at grounds, I give you the £3 excuse for food at Blyth Spartans:

August 24, 2022 at 11:08 am #243416Blythe’s must taste good Deerey. Lol. They had just won best away experience of all the national league’s grounds, it was that good someone appears to have nicked one half of a sausage while he was putting sauce on. I’m not giving in that easy Deerey i demand NI goes for a taste test. Ps West ham pie and a pint £13.30 Man utd £7.20, hate to say it but the cods did look good.

August 24, 2022 at 11:12 am #243417To be fair there is some half decent grub for £4-5 on there but not much. Tends to be a bit more for something bordering on edible!

Had a hotdog at Blyth earlier this year. Didn’t look like the one in the picture as it was in a proper hotdog roll and cost £2.50. Mind you, you can get the same thing in Ikea for under a quid, so probably overpriced.
August 25, 2022 at 7:25 am #243457Is that in the ground or some Fan park thing?
Meanwhile at Banbury
It's 0-0 here at Banbury and I have a new candidate for the worst football cheeseburger. £4.60. pic.twitter.com/zvjvPzBcdt

August 25, 2022 at 9:11 am #243462I think the Reading one is in the ground. That black burger at Banbury has got to be a wind up surely?

Surely it’s black pudding and should be on a plate with bacon, egg, sausage, tomatoes, beans, hash browns, toast and a nice big mug of TEA 😂

August 25, 2022 at 9:37 am #243467Aye! Sure it’s not Bury instead of Banbury?

August 29, 2022 at 11:45 am #243821Well in fairness to the Cods catering, looking at the competition on this thread they are streets ahead, I would pay £6.50 for what looks like some real appetizing tasty grub. I guess this is a result of the new owners because last time we went there and KVV pissed them all off and delighted us lot, the sausage butty I had that day was bang average.
August 29, 2022 at 1:55 pm #243837Deereyme, that burger is criminal. Worst I’ve seen, he paid £3.50 too much for that shocker.
August 29, 2022 at 5:04 pm #243865They should call it a ‘swannburger’
August 29, 2022 at 5:14 pm #243866The burger was the same size as the bun before they cooked it! 😂
August 30, 2022 at 12:40 am #243978I don’t know what worse, our league performance or that burger ?
That’s how bad that burger is. The most impressive part of it is the wrapper in which it came in.
