If he isn’t, he bloody well should be!
February 21, 2024 at 6:48 am #281463There’s 18 full weeks left on his contract.
What’s he on a week? – a grand?

£18k to pay him off.You “think” you know the details of his contract!
I can assure you, you don’t, you’re not even close.

It’s better to keep quiet than to lie about something you have no knowledge of.Two question marks indicate that two questions were asked.
Players contracts usually go up to the last week in June, as the new season starts on 1st July every year.
Perhaps I should have said that there maybe 18 weeks remaining on his contract.
No lies told.
Maybe I’m a million miles out with his weekly wage.
Maybe he’s on £500 a week, £2k a week, £3k a week… I’ve no idea – it was just a guess.
Speculation, have the conservatives made that a criminal offence now?

February 22, 2024 at 5:37 pm #281586Give Jimmy a break.
Too many players off form or something gone on behind the scenes. Some have no fight.February 22, 2024 at 7:26 pm #281587He got a break,he took over a job above his ability ,got us relegated and is performing badly. He should have gone with Hilton if he had any sense of decency in my opinion

(Mind you – aren’t managers required to do something about that?)February 23, 2024 at 11:04 am #281594He got a break,he took over a job above his ability ,got us relegated and is performing badly. He should have gone with Hilton if he had any sense of decency in my opinion
He’s in a contract- not his problem.
Sounds similar to when fans were saying George Taft didn’t deserve pension contributions because he couldn’t defend.
February 23, 2024 at 11:50 am #281599Manager’s job to ensure the team spirit remains. He’s lost the dressing room with his one dimensional approach and favourites. However the players must shoulder responsibility for being outplayed in most recent games by part timers. I would be embarrassed as a professional in my field to be consistently bested by hobbyists.

February 23, 2024 at 12:41 pm #281600Players definitely need to step up and take some responsibility here, like Ironawe says.

(Mind you – aren’t managers required to do something about that?)Is this the same friend who advised you about Hilton’s chances of success, outbluffing Swann? If so, you may want to take it with a large pinch of salt.
And ‘yes!’ to the second part of your post.
February 23, 2024 at 3:09 pm #281603Lost the dressing room People say and yet they still follow his orders (style of play) why amongst themselves couldn’t they sort it out and play the game how they wanted, because whatever they aren’t doing themselves any favors putting in the displays of late.
February 23, 2024 at 4:11 pm #281604If half the team were following JD’s “plan” and the rest were doing their own thing because they “know better” that could explain what we’re seeing.

I strongly suspect thats exactly what is going on Cass … this massive down turn in form cannot be tagged as simply bad form or luck there is some thing badly wrong at SUFC at the mo which is a real shame after the huge amount of hard work done by all concerned… you could probably have a fair idea of the possible unprofessional ,lazy rotten apple shit stirrers but whats the point its all turned to dog poo and the damage has n is still being done on the pitch.
Alfreton today and then Chester will be a litmus test for the players attitude on home soil .. hoping they can surprise me and get a result but its doubtful with all the BS going off behind the scenes.
Losse the next 2 at home and i still dont think JD will be sacked .. just drift to season and contract end and say byebye to him n Plummer (the latter ive always been not quite sure what he brings to the table in the first place)

I think he will if he loses those two because post match against South Shields he sounded more than a bit rattled/worried.
