As much as I have no time for him I find how The Roberts Sharp influence at GP goes about it’s business as massively alarming. Its the Towns club not their wet dream to do with as they please.
The Weekender crew might be their mates now but I hope they fall flat on their faces .
Don’t crap on your own doorstep
More concerned if we Crumble in front of a big crowd today

They’re obviously trying every new idea they can to get money in, and to generate some wider interest and involvement. Admirable energy, but it could bite them in the arse at some point.
I don’t get why they couldn’t have had The Smoking Goat as the outdoor burger outlet among the pizza, Greek food and churros. That way it would be promoting them and bringing in something extra for the day.
Personally I’m glad there’s all this extra stuff on offer today, but it does seem a bit odd that (if Goat is telling the truth) they didn’t ask him. All that outside catering will surely impact his potential to rake in dollar.
‘If’ ffs
The club have shafted him, nowt new there then.

They haven’t gone out of their way to shaft him, I’d say. They’re simply exercising their right to ‘extend the offer’ to supporters on a big matchday. But – a big but – he should have been the first to be asked if he wanted to do something outside too.

So should Henry’s Bar, to be honest – although not food as they are simply crap at it.
I get the impression that some (e.g. CEO) doesn’t seem to prioritise maintaining strong relations with others when making his decisions.
Lots of small businesses have helped the club out in many ways often being talked into work for free or cost, just not a good luck, once bitten twice shy.

Perhaps, when the Club was visibly on its arse, they wanted to do something to help and to show support.
