Dour game that never got going, poor ref but not the worst we’ve seen, next to zilch atmosphere but 3pts and top of the league can’t be bad.

Thought the ref was one of the better ones we have had this season albeit a low bar.

Sign of a championship winning side that wins a game comfortably without playing well.

Sign of a former Championship player, Butterfield with another worldy, the guy is already a Scunny legend. Run of the mill game, we could have had a few more with a bit more luck in front of goal and some sharper finishing and the free kicks were pants, which proves everybody has an off day occasionally. Gloucester sat so deep till the second went in it was a job getting through them but in truth it was a comfortable win. Thought the ref did ok, certainly better than a few bloke refs who have turned up this season.

Disappointed with the lack of service personnel and no bugler on the pitch for the remembrance, f all to do with the football but just not the same.

[Agree, one of the best referees I’ve seen all season. She let the game flow, got most of the big calls spot on, and most importantly, the game wasn’t all about her. Low ego, high control and respect.

Give him time, he needs minutes. Patience is needed with Roberts.

Not the best match of the season, but a 6-0, 6-1 and a 2-0 over the past 11 days and a 2-0 win today, our fans must be really happy surely!!!

In fact with South sheils, Tamworth, Alfreton, Chester all losing, and Scunny going 2 points clear at the top of the league, it can be put down as a great day.

I had forcast a 4-0 win, but are happy with 2-0, and with the team only conseeding 1 goal in our past 4 matches, I am looking forward to watching Tuesdays game on NLN Streaming.

I forcast the attendance of 4,180, but the report states over 4,000, I am interested in what the actual figure is, my best this season was 12 out ha ha!

Well done to the players, the management and of course the supporters.

Happy with today even if it was more solid than spectacular. Defence is tightening up, Boyce has been excellent and Barrows stepped in effortlessly. Whitehall has much improved since the Chester defeat 2 weeks ago too.

My only criticism would be it became too pedestrian at times and Clunan has to have a glance forward rather than always looking to play towards his centre backs; but that’s being picky.

4,200 crowd which is much more like it.

    Barrows stepped in effortlessly

People will hate me for what I’m about to type but Barrows is an improvement on Ogle. I like Ogle as he’s tough who never stops running but Barrows is the better footballer.

Ogle for all his upsides is garbage when it comes to delivery the ball into the box and his passing is a bit wayward. Barrows is a lot less rough around the edges.

Beestin back in a few weeks and Elliot is due back very soon. Roberts is getting more fit with each passing minute. HMS Piss The League will arrive at it’s destination come the end of the season.

Fingers crossed we don’t suffer all those injuries again but really for us to have the players we have at this level is a joke. Always did say Butterfield is league 1 standard.

Butterfield is a special individual performing the way he’s doing at this level when it’s so beneath his level of ability, he must know it deep down and yet the goals he’s scoring is absolutely ridiculous.

If we was playing like this in league two I would be hailing his signature as a steal. The best way I can describe him in terms of ability for this level is the gap the Beagrie showed when he played at the level he played for us, as in you could tell he shouldn’t have been there.

Another man that needs a special mention is Jimmy Dean as he’s been terrific. Hilton was a dodgy character to the say the least but he did sign off on Dean and the squad we have now so least he got something right.

Ogles surging runs forward win him a lot of plaudits and quite rightly too but Barrows does seem a more accomplished player defensively, he looks a good player IMO.

Absolutely no reason to hate you just because your opinion differs from mine. However doubts about your sanity are a different matter entirely. Ogle has proved his quality over a season and a bit, (POY awards?) Barrows has had a couple of decent games.

To be fair he did win the POY awards for simply been less crap then the others which was an extremely low bar. I like Ogle for his determination, doggedness and energy but defensively he has the habit of switching off at times and his delivery into the box for the most part is shocking.

I don’t need to see much of Barrows to be of the opinion he’s the better football between the two, you can tell he’s a lot more refined than Ogle.

Cassidy, you’re talking more about consistency which is a lot different than me simply being of the opinion that Barrows looks the more accomplished footballer from a technique standpoint.

When it comes to consistency we’ll have to see but from what I’ve seen so far he’s a lot more solid and well rounded than Ogle. Put it this way, we haven’t downgraded from having him in the side.

Fingers crossed he keeps it up.

Strongly agree that his delivery into the box, by and large, is not up to scratch.
He has genuine pace, though and can have opposition CMs reaching for the brown underwear as he glides past.
One slight weakness in the side is that our players often take a second and a half to realise that he has begun one of his scything runs. If they could just react half a second sooner – I think that his forays forward would be even more devastating.
