Down near Gloucester visiting family. Had this in the diary for months ..though was expecting it to be a promotion party. Taking my wife, son, daughter in law, her parents and two grandkids for a dead rubber ! Anyone know how many Scunny fans (aporox) will be there. Will I recognise any of the players??

If I were in charge – you’d be watching the cup-winning giants from last Wednesday night.

be interesting to see JDs starting line up and bench today .. he didnt give much away in his pre match interview.

I hoping for a strong performance and win today NO INJURIES OR DAFT RED CARDS is imperative , saying that my prediction is 1-1

How hard will we be trying?
    What will the team be?
Hard to make a prediction when we don’t know.
They are on a stinker at the moment.

We should routinely beat these 0-3 or 0-4

If we want to go in to the play offs on a high, then it could be 0-5, 0-6, 0-7… take your pick? They may sneak a consolation goal?

More interested in the other games at the moment, chop and change, massive goal for Boston were dropping out of the playoffs now look like chance of playing us in the semi, best of all Blyth getting hammered and Farsley winning good back up if we don’t get promoted.

Another win which maintains the good form result wise going into the playoffs. Lots of changes again today and the team next Saturday will look completely different to today’s starting eleven, let’s take the win and remember we are a much better side when playing at home. UTI.

It is what it is but I’d have preferred a draw or a loss today psychology, 7 wins on the bounce is needed for us to get promoted haven’t done that for such a long time, just want 3 o’clock next Saturday to arrive far more easier to be watching than waiting i expect the wife to say im been snappy this coming week, not that promotion means much lol.

503 there today. Wish it had been 500. A couple of older guys totally blathered were swearing and fighting and one seemed to expose himself….and a younger woman stirring them up. It went on in front of us for ages with stewards out of their depth and only stopped when police appeared. All started again just yards away after they had been restrained. Kids crying, families moving away and people embarrassed for the reputation of the town and the club. If we’d been at home they’d have been ejected in minutes ..or lynched. The worst atmosphere I’ve been in for years.
ps way too slow and methodical first half and then punished on the break. Much better second half ..especially when regulars appeared off the bench.

Embarrassed to be a Scunny fan today, there were some absolute bellends in the crowd…especially those who kicked off and started fighting between themselves because they didn’t like getting told to move out of the way for a poor chap who was literally unconscious on the floor, with blood everywhere, pretty much fighting for his life.

Disappointing to hear JI and BLT. Culprits get a grip and drink less if you can’t handle your ale.

Bunch of chavs with main character syndrome. Going by what’s been posted on FB he’s been admitted to hospital in Bristol. Looked very nasty and can’t believe the paramedics walked him out without a stretcher. Wishing him a speedy recovery!

Wishing him a speedy recovery. As for the loùts, when you follow the Iron away you’re representing the club and the town. Don’t let the side down and don’t be an embarrassment.

I couldn’t believe how long the main culprits were tolerated. The chavs were as you’d expect and just a pain. But the two older guys were totally drunk from the beginning and incapable of anything but effing and threatening anyone who cut across them. One of them was finally escorted away by police ..reappeared !!!! … and was on the pitch after we scored our second. Chaos.

After watching the Gloucester goal, we really need to cut out the stupid passes, having said that I’ve been saying it all season. (And every season for more years than I care to remember.)

Last thing the Scunny moron being thrown out on Iron Army footage needed was a glass of beer thrown in his face, he’d had enough of that down his neck in the first place, what a bellend.

Sounds terrible. This has been mentioned all over the place, without anyone really saying what happened (other than he was hit by a ball). I’m guessing it hit him in the face / head and knocked him over, and he banged his head on the ground or on a barrier or something?

Reads as though think like me that our passing was and still is poor for professionals !

If they don’t like that part of the game then the next training session will be hour after hour of repetition until they get the message, Treat it as a joke then it will be day after day – THEY WILL IMPROVE .

Yep spot on Apollo, he took an almighty whack to the head with a wayward shot during shooting practice which immediately knocked him unconscious…he then fell backwards and cracked his head on the solid concrete floor.

That’s not good… I remember seeing a girl get hit full in the face by a warm-up shot from Alan Shearer at the England U21 match hosted at Scunthorpe in 1991.

Did they come down on the coach, if so well supervised on there then.
