NYE fixture announcements are mad ,the lack of explanation is insulting to fans .That this lack of communication is from a club that’s been living off the good will of fans is a joke

I hope it’s played in an empty stadium,Iron fans deserve better, perhaps they plan on doing a tear jerking video to explain

Don’t forget the sky’s going orange/ red when Lysaghts slag ladles were being tipped, often coincided with a home goal going in.

I misread that, I thought you said LADIES!!

It’s bad enough the Club moving the game to New Years Eve but why are the Club being so secretive about why they have done it.
All that the Fans have done and still are doing to save our Club and then they are ignored when asking for a reason for this change.

What a load of moaning sods you are.People have given time money and effort to keep the club alive and some of you still abuse them because you don’t like one decision that’s been made.

Seems at least a bit daft to have a 15:00 kick off on a work day NYE.

It would be crazy to schedule an evening kick off.

Perhaps the Welsh don’t celebrate NYE.

Sure we played Bolton NYE away a few years ago. Can’t recall any problem then and we took over a 1,000 there

On a slightly different tack – I would be able to get to many more games if we had regular 1pm kick offs.
I don’t really expect the club to arrange this just to make my life work a bit better. Mind you …

They’re supposed to be putting out an explanation but having dealt with that James guy before I doubt he gives a toss

The Kidderminster game is an evening kick-off. Not my preference but not an outrageous decision.

A game on New Year’s Eve at 3pm is a good idea I reckon, lots of people are off work anyway, can use the game as the starting point of their NYE celebrations, rather than being dragged out of their beds on New Year’s Day. I agree that a bit of explanation of the thinking behind the change would be good but I don’t think it’s a terrible idea, personally.

It is a terrible idea, it’s very much a standard working day for many. Some people have a lot of Friday’s off, shall we start moving games to 3pm on a Friday too?

I wouldn’t be in the least surprised to see that happen, and not too far off either.

Yes, let’s take a perfectly reasonable decision, one which has been clearly explained by the club giving good reasons, and just make up something nonsensical.

Club statement: King’s Lynn Town encounter

FWIW, I’m self-employed so I don’t get paid days off at any point, not even bank holidays, but you won’t hear me being outraged about this.

Some people like being outraged just for the sake of being outraged, just get on with it.

I didn’t say he was wrong. He would have been if he disagreed with me on anything ,I said he doesn’t care. The statement proves that.
